The ambience is good. The location is good and the cooling was good. But while walking, I could recognize that they are not much into cleanliness. Me and my colleague noticed that our shoes were sticking to the tile. This happens when you do not clean the floors properly and there are layers of oil there. The food was average. The buffet spread is okay and can be give a try. But sometimes you don't only rate the food because of their food. Its also the service and staff behavior. The Manager is very arrogant and does not have basic talking courtesy. I am not saying this, but you can find many such reviews when either the food was delayed and the service was very slow. So for the food and location I would have given them a three stars but reduced to two as because of the managers behavior. been there 2-3 times. the restaurant is very beautiful with many cuisines available. The reception was good n we had a seat next to their transparent kitchen. The interior decor was outstanding, which made me fall in love with this place. Cozy restaurant, candle lights, and beautiful décor. And then off course the food; authentic Afghani and North Indian cuisine. I had the most scrumptious kebabs and Tandoori Chicken at this place. If you are looking for some sumptuous Punjabi food to tickle your taste buds then CARAVAN SERAI is the place for you. from delicacies ranging from their MAHI Tikka to murgh makhani every bite takes u to an enthralling experience that one may never forget. Ordered the buffet and in all honesty, it was just an average experience. Food was astonishingly just average, nothing great at all. Considering the price, it's actually a bit of a let down. Seating is quite low and service is abysmal. Starters are served at your table, but be ready to wait for 10-15 mins for them to bring it, more than half the time they seem to have forgotten about it totally. Plates were dirty, so were utensils, which was shocking, thankfully they replaced it promptly and also apologized. The atmosphere is probably one of the only good things here, good lighting and interior. We were a group of 10, spent 9k here (900rs for both veg and non veg buffet), if we'd have gone for a la carte we could've probably gotten even more variation and the bill would have been cheaper too.
