The Legend Hotel - Santacruz — Hotel in Mumbai

The hotel provided courtesy transfer transportation from the Airport to the hotel and return. We arrived at the hotel which was up a small side street, we were rather taken aback. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the Reception staff, registered in and were shown to our room on the 2nd floor. The room was large and airy with AC. Pleasant room with en suite bathroom overlooking the small busy street. The decor was a little tired. Luckily the windows were double glazed. The room had Satelite TV which was functional but had no fridge. The hotel was quiet, Room Service 24hrs as was the Reception.The staff were very friendly, polite, courteous and attentive.The room was cleaned every day and bed linen exchanged.||The small Restaurant on the 1st floor provided a good selection of Indian/Continental food at breakfast which we enjoyed. The other guests were friendly and very inquisitive about our stay in Mumbai. We had 5 glorious days here, sightseeing all over Mumbai with some hair raising experiences on the local trains. The hotel we would not consider it as a small Boutique hotel, it was more like a comfortable, homely 3 star hotel. It was my office trip. Hotel was good. They have good space for parking. They have reception at the ground floor. Reception guy was very humble. The hotel staff who escorted me to my room was very helpful his name is GANESH. Rooms were very spacious and neat and clean but the washroom was not good at all. You get complementary water bottle in your room. Electric kettle is there and they have kept milk seche, tea and coffee seche. With stay you get complementary breakfast and one time lunch or dinner. Food was delicious they give you good portion in the main meal. It had one sabji one daal ,rice and chapati. In breakfast it was buffet and today we had poha with idli sambhar, some fruits were also there along with tea ,coffee. Location was good. It is 15 minutes drive from the airport. They do not laundry service whereas if you wanna get it done you can give it at the shop they take Rs 86 per piece. They do not have gym available or swimming pool. They do not have iron or iron board in the room but it is urgent you can request at the front desk on request they provide it to the guest. Overall I had a lovely stay there. Fantastic rooms in budget. We south indian felt somewhat struggled to get the south indian food in this hotel. But alternatively once we started having the mumbai dishes , wow its a fantastic food , both my kid and wife enjoys the breakfast at the hotel .

Three day we have stayed over there, they have served a nice bread pakora , poha , upma , idly , poori and lot more south india cuisines dishes in the free breakfast from this hotel. That was really surprised .

Lots of Good chat shop are available next to the hotel street ,

very close to the domestic airport terminal . Just 15 to 20 mins travel.

Just 15 min drive to US visa consulate for both Bio-metric and in-person interview locations .

10 mins to the jio mall and 20 mins drive to Phoenix Mal .

The above place are visited at the time , that might helpful for the ppl who looking for those place from hotel .

Don't worry about the commute ...bunch of auto rickshaw and taxi wala available just walk out...
