Hotel Saffronn — Hotel in Nashik

We wanted to visit Nashik for 2 days to see the river and religious things going on and the vineyard. The hotel is very very basic and looks quite unclean although actually i think it is clean, it's just old. From what we could tell, we were the only non Indian people who had ever stayed. The location was convenient as it was close to the river but you can only really get there by rickshaw or taxi as the roads are very busy and as with many towns, there are no pavements. The staff were really helpful though, they spoke some English (some better than others) and booked things for us including train tickets and sorted rickshaws. They were very accomodating. It was cheap but for what the facilities are (we had to sit in the reception area to use wifi, but they did always get us chairs to do so) it was a bit more than i think is reasonable, especially as you have to pay additional prices for more than 1 person in the room plus taxes. Very poor quality bedding available in room. Too expensive for the quality of rooms, the toilets were too small for someone to even fit in properly. They didn't even provide any additional amenities such as tea which is a bare minimum. The crowd was very bad, smoking and drinking in their rooms. They didn't even inform about chargeable water bottles and that there was a free RO service. We got multiple bottles and after they forced us to pay, they didn't tell us upfront that the bottles are chargeable. I decided not to go to this hotel reading the previous reviews . But thanks to auto guy who took me to this hotel . they offered me room for 4 people just for RS1500 and i extended my stay as there was lot more to see ,which the hotel staff guided me .||thanks to them i covered the full city and even placed which i dint know existed in Nashik.||I guess the previous reviews are due to kumbh mela season . ||and i will suggest users here to visit the hotel without palnning as the staff will guide you and they also offers car for nashik darshan which is for 1500 rs full day ....
