Hello all. I would just like to take some time during this hour of the day and would like to share our experience here for all prospective patrons of Blue Diamond. We had booked their tango banquets hall for 100 pax with cocktail and dinner. We had blocked the place on 12th June for a event to be held on 14th June 7.30 pm onwards. On 12th June itself we sent them the token advance of 50k and the total amount was 261960 for all pax plus cocktails at actuals which was agreed on. It was also agreed on email that the balance payment we will do on the 14th morning in full that is 211960. On 13th June myself with my team and our Decorator went to the venue for some arrangements and deciding the cocktail menu and food menu. We also gave them the advance notice that our food counter will have to be extended up to 12.30 or 1 am and that was accepted. After the discussion which were concluded and every thing was decided, I went off along with my team and the vendor. Just for you to make a note here, my vendor was told to be very carefull to take away his stuff immediately after the function was over and other thing was they did not have the basic alcohol brands and we had to settle with what they had in stock and we agreed to that also. The brand which we had ask for was antiquity blue and signature which is basic and most popular brands but they did not have it. Any ways we settled for the ones they had as had no options. After I was back, at around 6.30 pm I get a call from Mr amaan the sales person , and is asking me to make the payment the same day evening for reason being that their systems were undergoing some maintenance and hence on 14th June I will not be able to make the payment, which was earlier decided and documented. I strongly opposed this and hence it was accepted some how by the hotel for 14th morning payment. And religiously I did the payment on 14th morning as promised by us. The next day my vendor with my office person went to the venue for set up and arrangements at 4.30 pm and the surprise gesture was MY VENDOR WAS REFRAINED FROM HAVING BOTTLED DRINKING WATER AND WAS TOLD TO DRINK THE WATER FROM THE COOLER. I believe no body would restrict any one from drink water. Any ways thing were ignored by us and the function finally started at 8.30 pm. The Starters were started at 8 to 8.15 pm and were being served for 40 to 45 min and as soon as the cocktails were started to be serve, Starters were discontinued with our our knowledge. The dinner was started at 9.30 pm and was going on as per the plan but suddenly mid way when 10 people were having the dinner, the food incharge Mr Shailesh removed the dinner fully and people were left behind wondering as they were half way through their dinner and were yet to take rice. After too much of agitation and commotion the same was started again but people had kept their plates and it was all a fiasco for us and thanks to blue diamond Management. Plus there is no sign of regret in the staff and the Banquet manager so to say about customer dissatisfaction at all.
In view of the above I suggest all that if you want to make your occasions memorable then do not go to BLUE DIAMOND as it will be surely memorable for you and your family but in the WRONG WAY AND WILL GIVE NIGHT MARES TO YOU.

Prices have increased significantly .||We are residents of Pune and have been visiting their restaurants , Mystic Masala , Latitude and Whispering Bamboo SINCE , Blue Diamond was taken over by Taj Hotels , but almost every fortnight for the past 8-9 years.||The degradation in the quality of every dish of the offerings was first experienced by us on December 18,2023 in MYSTIC MASALA -which used to be our favourite place for dining. The management called it as a place for 'Authentic Maharashtrian Dishes'.|The choice of their offerings are now no longer good as it used to be.|Simple dishes like 'Usals' ,Waran & Bhaat' have been removed, besides many others. Bharli Vangi and Bhakris are twisted and modified ,killing the originality . |The recipes are innovated as per their desire and NO MORE AUTHENTIC. |THIS PLACE IS A 'NO GO' FOR ANY MAHARASHTRIAN NOW !!! Unfortunate to write here. After December 18,2023 we have stopped going to that place . ||We had a Similar experience with WHISPERING BAMBOO a few months back !! |We ordered for some Starters, Noodles, Fried Rice with Veg Manchurian and Hot & Sour soup . Just mentioning ,because we remember. There was a layer of Oil on the soup- taste was very bad , Each of the dishes were like" Too much Oil' and a distinct odour-not bearable. On enquiring , we got to know that like Mystic Masala, here also the recipes and the spices have been changed ........ I think it is the beginning of an invitation of recession at this place as well. Unfortunately, this restaurant is also not like before.||Lastly, we have been going to LATITUDE regularly and are really happy to note that at least this is one restaurant in this IHCL-SELECTIONS hotel of Blue Diamond, Pune where the management has not played with their offerings and their recipes . However, they need to look into the seating arrangements and the Tables and Chairs in LATITUDE. The day , the management plays with the recipes and portions of this 24 hour coffee shop, I am sure it will be a disaster . ||We as a family are honestly disappointed to see the gradual degradation of Mystic Masala and Whispering Bamboo. We want to get back the same previous and authentic offerings at Mystic Masala and Whispering Bamboo-- We really want to go back to those 2 restaurants as well. ||We still hope that LATITUDE will continue to offer us the varieties and cuisines , authentic and satisfying keeping at least that restaurant for a really satisfying experience , every time and always.||NEEDLESS TO SAY, the senior managers, the managers, restaurant managers ,staff and everyone out there at Blue Diamond-IHCL Selections are , courteous and marvellous , besides having a high level of HUMAN TOUCH at every level and in everything they do !!
