Glint By Plunge — Restaurant in Pune

It is located on the upper floor in the mall. The mall looked empty when we arrived there around 9 pm for dinner, but in the diner itself there was some crowd.

Food was delicious, service was good too. Waiting time was acceptable. We ordered Cottage Cheese Lollipops with Spiced Podi Aioli (these were good), and Farmer's delight (pizza) for starters. Angelica delight in drinks which was my favourite and since pizza was a little dry so the drink complemented it.

For main course, Dal makhani, tawa roti, naan and paneer bhuna. The server had informed us about naan being very big (divided into 4 pieces) so we ordered accordingly (2 were enough for 3 people). Dal makhani and paneer bhuna were delicious in their own ways. Not too oily nor having generic spices. Felt good even after overeating a little.

Ok so first of all I would like to mention that if you are visiting this restaurant on a week day at night, then make sure that you finish off by 10:30PM, or else use basement car parking to get off because the location is just so pathetic that all the gates get closed so early in an area like Koregaon Park. Food was pretty good but still the restaurant should work on the quality of paneer. To the restaurant's credit the quantity was just beyond my expectations with respect to the price. The ambience was just pathetic. There was hardly any family in the restaurant when K visited it (time: 10PM). Considering this restaurant to be a 4 star one located in an area like Koregaon Park, the staff was not polite. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant. The restaurant has a good service. Its promises a very good ambience. The live show is also very entertaining.

But … we go there mainly for food. Unfortunately the food is not good at all. This includes the taste, ingredients, preparation and all. We ordered Chinese, Italian, Indian. Everything that we tried wasn’t good at all.

If you are a foodies, you can avoid. If you are a vegetarian and you wish to eat only in “pure vegetarian,” you hardly have much of choices in Pune apart from those orthodox ones like Shiv Sagar...
