Group of 3 Ordered: nachos del Sol, jalapenos cheese toast, Quattro veggie pizza, sun-dried tomatoes and ricotta ravioli, cold coffee, mocha, apple-rosemary infused tea.
Nachos: 270/- for 8/9 pieces of baked nachos! The dip was nothing but smashes red beans, will some cheese shavings and spring onions. When they first bought it to the table it smelled like sev puri due the spring onion garnish. Absolutely tasteless, dry and waste of money
Jalapenos cheese toast - without a trace of jalapenos. We raised it to them they said they have aplied jalapenos butter to the bread, but none of us could taste it. If it was served for cheese toast, it was relatable. But definitely nothing jalapenos related in it
Ravioli - just fine, the ravioli dough could be felt, had that raw, uncooked taste. Also it was dry with lot of olive oil drizzled over it. The filling seemed to be only ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes were used for garnish along with some garlics. Again a disappointing dish I would say. It was served with a plain bread slice. Atleast it should have been toasted or something
Pizza - this was the best we liked. Nice crispy, thin crust pizza. Toppings were mushroom, aubergine, olives. It surprinsgly tasted good. Cheese was also decent in quantity. Size could have been little bigger to do more justice to the pricing
Beverages - all were good, tea could have been better if the infused water was close to boiling water. It was served with honey but was tasting good without honey too
Ambience was okish for night time as the place was not properly lit. only one side had all the lights and the other side is then left to eat with their own shadows falling on the table. Might be a good option daytime
Menu does not have descriptions so u will have to ask the servers for details

Read moreZen Cafe used to be one of our favorite spots. It holds sentimental value because our very first date was here — we genuinely loved the vibe back then. But what this place has become is honestly just sad.
Several months ago, I had an experience so bad I left mid-meal. The staff literally made me move tables while I was eating. No explanation, no apology — just cold, rude behavior as if I was inconveniencing them. I left my food, paid the bill, and walked out, furious.
Fast forward nearly 9 months — we decided to give Zen one final chance, mostly because my husband still felt connected to the place. We walked in, the cafe was completely empty, and we sat down at a table for four. Within seconds, a staff member asked us to move to a smaller table because we were just two people. Seriously?
Not only was the place deserted, but the staff couldn’t be bothered to show even basic hospitality or common sense. What followed was arrogant, dismissive talk instead of any kind of apology or customer service. And when we asked for his name? He refused to give it. Just stood there with an attitude like he was doing us a favor.
This cafe has become all style, no soul — just pretentious decor masking terrible management and downright disrespectful staff. It’s actually embarrassing how far this place has fallen.
Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. Zen Cafe isn’t what it used to be — and frankly, it doesn’t deserve your time, your money, or...
Read moreLovely little cafe. Located in a private corner, facing a dead end. This place does try to live up to the name “Zen” cafe, that too in Pune’s own Rajneeshpuram. One might expect tranquility just going by the name “Zen”. You won’t be disappointed.
Location - At the end of lane behind Irani cafe. Easily approachable since this is just off the main road. However parking may be a problem, specially during weekends and late evenings. Good.
Ambience- The place is lit by a yellowish hue, which is easy on the eyes. There are seating options outside as well as inside. The striking feature is that there is a lot of greenery inside the compound. An added plus is that you have to enter through a small gate - that’s where the Zen oxymoron comes to the rescue- it is a gateless gate (Pun intended).
Food - Good options for vegetarians. I swear I had also spotted some vegan options too. Food is generic good, with nothing to really complain about. However I did feel that it wasn’t the best. Or maybe I had ordered some of their commons. One quick feedback, it is better if the cafe highlighted its best stuff. And suggested the right ones. Good collection of coffee.
Comfort - Comfortable table setup with a okayish book collection. It is cosy and can be a good place for a date, especially during Pune’s romantic monsoons.
Price - As per koregaon park standards 😜
In short, nice cosy place for a date....
