A Hotel by Grewalz — Hotel in Punjab

I am staying in this Hotel for the last two days.||It is a small hotel Nothing fancy as such , with smiling staff who seem to have no Hospitality ettiuetts at all. Specifically staff at the reception , seem to be a bunch of really jumbled up confused lot.|Every morning guest are woken up by a morning Alarm regardless of whether you decide to rest and sleep late or if you have requested for a wake up call or not ||On complaint there is no word of sorry from the staff ,they are unable to understand that the guest has been disturbed the standard reply to all your complaints , I will just find out , they plead to be innocent or they are foolish .||The rooms are nice and good and comfortable, |If having a thin bedsheet as you duvet and ice cold sleepless nights along with noise from the road , from the staff moving furniture early morning at 6:30Am till you wake up and also from the next door guest toilet is your idea of a good room. And you pay premium price for this.||Breakfast well again a service issue here , the staff prefers talking within themselves not even wishing you good morning or making eye contact , no one even serves you water without you asking them I was not even provided a glass.|Again if you complaint , which I did the standard reply of this hotel is let me find out , damn are you blind or did you have a twin brother serving me.?||Ambience : The hotel is small but nice clean and well maintained there is a Coffee Shop Barista also in house and the service there is much better .||Do not pre order breakfast , I had to shell out 500 rs more because of this untrained of the staff and my complete helplessness in able to get some kind of empathy or acknowledgement from the staff.||Bottom stay here if you don't like to sleep at night |Also book here if you are looking at dealing with Robotic service with a full attitude and no one wants to listen to your...

The location of the hotel is a real advantage and it's one of the reason I chose to stay here. If you drive in you should be able to get a parking. The check in was smooth and I found the pricing to be reasonable as well. The room was cozy and had all the facilities which is required. Like a mini bar, coffee/ tea maker etc. The bed was comfortable and I did had a good sleep However, a few things were not at all as per my liking. When I came out of the lift to the lobby and walked towards the room I could smell eucalyptus oil. Now I don't think you expect this in a hotel. I saw an electric exhumer, which I guess was the reason for the smell. I also believe this is done to keep away the insects and Mosquitos, but it's surely a turn off Secondly, something needs to be done with the shower panel. The water from the shower came out at literally at the speed of light and it really hurted me. Even thought I reduced the water flow it did not help at all. Thus , I decided to forego my shower. The breakfast spread was also quite good and to my liking. Though I was quite happy with the overall experience, I will think twice to visit here, given my experience with the shower.
