At the heart of every restaurant, the food remains the prime attraction, and on that front, Zaika triumphs. However, as we delve into the finer nuances, the overall dining experience appears to be a mixed bag.
From the moment you step into the establishment, the ambience falls somewhat short of expectations. It lacks the inviting charm and sophistication one anticipates when venturing out for a dining experience, creating an atmosphere that's somewhat lackluster.
Zaika's brilliance shines through in its cuisine, bringing a delightful symphony of flavors to your table. Their gourmet offerings boast of impressive quality and taste. It's clear the restaurant prides itself on its food and culinary finesse. However, this gourmet experience is somewhat dampened by the choice of crockery. The use of plastic plates seems a misfit and undermines the otherwise high-quality dining experience. An investment in ceramic or glass dinnerware could certainly uplift the overall aesthetic and create a more holistic gourmet experience.
The restaurant's staff, while amiable, could benefit from further training in restaurant etiquettes. There's an apparent mismatch between the caliber of the food and the standard of service. Similarly, the staff uniform doesn't reflect the sophistication that a place serving such delicious food ought to exhibit. A more professional ensemble for the team would contribute significantly towards improving the dining experience for patrons.
The waiting time for food at Zaika is a noticeable drawback. Despite their culinary prowess, the long wait for dishes can dampen the dining enthusiasm. While it's understood that good food takes time, steps to manage customer expectations or perhaps work on efficiency would be much appreciated.
In summary, if your primary hunt is for quality food, Zaika won't disappoint. It's a haven for gourmands, offering exquisite taste and quality. However, be prepared for a less-than-impressive ambience, a casual approach to tableware, and a potentially lengthy wait time. With a few improvements, Zaika could easily transform from being just a 'food destination' to a complete 'dining experience'. After all, a restaurant is not just about the food; it's about the...
Read moreThe food was good, service was good but really did not like the way of how the owner handled the payment with me esp. Before entering the venue, i had a couple of discussions with owner regarding the payment with dineout or direct amount to them which needs to be paid via dine out. After discussions maybe he thought i knew he was making fool of us, he talked into my brother of giving him gateway payment charges which made no sense bcz we paid via dineout. When i started to discuss after meal on the counter, he told me that he would talk to my brother only bcz he knew he could make a fool out of him and get him to pay gateway charges which was 5%. Dont know but please correct me if i am wrong or did he really make a fool of my brother by taking gateway charges of him in cash separate than the bill amount of dineout. The worst part was he knew that I know he was making fool of us thats y he did not let me involve in the convo in the counter and told me to stay out of bill payment matter. Its just that PLEASE STOP MAKING US FOOL AND STOP TAKING GATEWAY PAYMENT CHARGES IN CASH WHEN THE PERSON PAID BILL VIA DINEOUT. you think you made a fool of them but it was really wrong on your part that you make fool of people and took amount from...
Read moreThe place is located in Feroze Gandhi market right next to Biryani by Kilo and has a nice ambience. The staff was very courteous and was wearing mask and followed covid appropriate behaviour. The manager/owner is a really warm person and he ensures you hae a good time. They also listen to your requests if you want some items to be less spicy but do talk to the manager for recommendations the menu. Their menu is very huge but unfortunately due to lack of staff few items were not available. We tried their Banjara Kebab and cheese stuffed chicken balls and both them tasted really good. We also ordered burnt garlic soup and crispy rice and veggie soup but they were just average. The burnt garlic soup didn't have any taste of garlic in it rather tasted cardamomy. We also ordered a kung pao chicken and had asked to make it less spicy and it turned out to be very spicy. Overall the food was decent and I hope with the staff returning the restaurant is able to make their food and service even...
