During my recent 4-day stay at this hotel, I was pleased with the level of comfort and convenience it provided. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient, ensuring a hassle-free experience for guests. Situated within walking distance of popular tourist attractions such as the Golden Temple, Jalyawala Bagh, and the town hall, the hotel's location is ideal for exploring the city. Moreover, there are plenty of nearby shops where guests can purchase souvenirs and gifts.
The rooms were well-maintained and kept clean, although they were not particularly spacious. The hotel is newly constructed and has both a lift and stairway for guests' convenience. Despite its relatively compact size, the hotel ensures a comfortable stay for guests.
One potential drawback is that cab access is not available directly to the hotel, and guests need to drop off at the Car Park, which is a well-known landmark. However, the hotel is not usually crowded, especially on weekdays.
The staff members were cooperative and professional, contributing to an overall pleasant experience. Additionally, guests are provided with complimentary two-liter water bottles, which is a rare offering among other hotels. However, toothpaste, brush, and comb were not provided, although shampoo and other essentials were available.
While the breakfast options were somewhat limited, the quality of food served was satisfactory. At times, buffet options were not available. The internet speed was steady but could have been faster. Furthermore, some guests may find the toilet seat to be a bit high, which could potentially be challenging for some individuals.
In conclusion, I had a comfortable stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others seeking a convenient and pleasant accommodation option...
Read moreEdit: Resolution was provided by the team and a refund was initiated after a mail was sent to the higher management. —————— Our experience was going well until we entered our room on the 4th floor. Despite the scorching 40-degree weather outside, we turned on the AC and waited patiently for 20 minutes, hoping the room would cool down. To our dismay, nothing happened. Frustrated, we called the reception to inform them about the malfunctioning AC, only to be told that the temperature was controlled from there. They assured us that it was set to 22 degrees, but still, the AC remained ineffective. We raised the issue with the manager once again, explaining that we couldn't bear the suffocating conditions and would have to search for another hotel. The manager did nothing in response.
Within a mere 40-50 minutes, we decided to leave the premises as the manager failed to acknowledge the AC's malfunction or show any empathy towards us. When we requested a fair refund at 6 PM, the manager promised to fix the issue in just 10 minutes. However, he repeatedly claimed that we had only been in the room for 30 minutes and that it takes time for the room to cool down.
Considering my short stay in the city (less than 12 hours), it is utterly disappointing that the hotel expected me to constantly remind the manager of their basic responsibilities. The service and the manager's response left me extremely dissatisfied. I have always enjoyed excellent hospitality at Bloom Rooms in Delhi, but this experience has been a significant letdown, leaving a bitter aftertaste. I strongly advise avoiding this property at all costs! There are far better options right next to this hotel that you can easily...
Read moreI recently booked four rooms at Bloom Hotel for a stay near Harmandir Sahib, and overall, I had a mostly positive experience. First off, I really liked the location—the hotel is conveniently situated within easy reach of Harmandir Sahib, which made it perfect for early morning visits to the shrine. The distance is manageable and definitely a plus for travelers who want to maximize their time there. The rooms themselves were average but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The linens were fresh, and housekeeping seemed to maintain good standards, which made the rooms feel welcoming and worth the price I paid. That said, the check-in process was a bit frustrating. The hotel requires identity documents for every guest, including young children, which felt a bit unreasonable since kids under 5 rarely have any form of ID. This caused some confusion and delay, especially because all four rooms were under my reservation, so I wasn’t expecting to provide documents for every single occupant. The front desk staff seemed unsure about the policy and how to handle it, which added to the stress, particularly because I arrived late at night and just wanted to settle in quickly. Despite this hiccup, the staff were polite enough, though a little more training on check-in procedures would definitely improve the experience. In summary, while the ID requirement for kids and the slightly chaotic check-in process were drawbacks, the hotel’s convenient location and clean, decent rooms make it a good option for those visiting Harmandir Sahib. I would consider staying here again, especially if the front desk procedures improve and the staff become...
