Hotel Prems Paradise — Hotel in Punjab

This hotel falls in the Oyo Flagship category and based on this classification i booked this a room here for four nights in Dec. As per my understanding a Flagship classification would mean that the property has some very high standards overall. I had seen the pictures online and based on that I booked the room. The pics are gross misrepresentation as the rooms are like pigeon holes, the service is terrible, disruptive free wi-fi, the complimentary breakfast isn't worth mentioning and one would be better off not eating that the one elevator that there is takes the cake!!

For price conscious travellers this place offers pocket friendly stay. Pros - location, right next to temple campus. Rooms are good for their price. Complementary breakfast. Cons - again location, since the pavement in front of the hotel is buzzing with traffic round the clock. Unfriendly reception,

If your only criteria is a property close to the Golden Temple where you need a clean bed to sleep then go for it. If you are looking for a good experience in terms of service or ambiance etc then you'd be very disappointed. And don't be swayed by the Flagship...

I booked this place through OYO and I was denied check in because we were 2 females and one male. The manager at the hotel reception claimed that OYO has mentioned it in their policies but we couldn’t find any such policy on OYO and OYO claimed that it was the particular hotel policy, none of the above though was conveyed to us before booking the property. Besides, the male at the reception (can’t remember the name) was way too rude and barely had manners on how to converse with guests, especially women. On contacting OYO, the representatives there too were inefficient in confirming the policy of not allowing two females and one male on the app to us. The OYO representatives along with the hotel staff were way too rude and denied any kind of help on the same and hence we had to look for...

Stayed in this hotel during our recent visit to Amritsar. Apart from close to Golden temple and a decent front desk officer, i found nothing right for this hotel. We booked a triple occupancy room and had to ask for an additional bed. On request, they brought a dirty bed without bedsheet. Again upon request given bed sheet. This time without a blanket. Had to ask again for a blanket bought a one, i believe is already used. They failed to give the OYO kit and not even provided one bottle of water.

The breakfast was complementary - there was not much option and the quality was horrible.

Prefer to forget about the stay...
