WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE – Unsafe, Dirty, and Full of Unprofessional Staff||I rarely write reviews, but the horrifying experience at this hotel needs to be shared to warn other travelers, especially families and solo female guests.||From the moment we checked in, the staff behavior was disturbing. Two of the room service boys, Pardeep and Ram Singh, were clearly drunk while on duty. Their behavior was uncomfortable and extremely unprofessional—lingering around rooms unnecessarily, trying to make conversation with female guests, and showing no sense of respect or boundaries.||Even worse, there were inappropriate phone calls made to our room late at night, clearly targeting female guests. It was clear that some staff members were watching the women in our group and trying to take advantage of the situation. We no longer felt safe in our own rooms.||When I tried to raise these issues at the reception, I politely asked for the receptionist’s name, and he rudely refused to share it, showing a complete lack of accountability. His arrogant attitude just confirmed how poorly this place is managed.||On top of all this, the rooms were filthy—smelly, full of dust, and the bathroom had old, rusted taps with dirty tiles. The entire place reeked of poor maintenance and zero hygiene. Bedsheets were stained, towels were unusable, and the furniture was broken.||The food was equally bad—cold, stale, oily, and clearly prepared without any cleanliness or care. It was honestly inedible.||This hotel is not just bad, it’s dangerous. From drunken staff, to creepy behavior, to unclean and uncomfortable rooms, this place is an absolute disgrace. Please do not risk your safety or peace of mind by staying here. This is one of the worst hospitality experiences...
Read moreWe visited the property in a group of Four. The hotel staff kept our rooms ready as we informed them about our arrival before hand. The rooms are decent for 2 people and a child. If you plan to include an extra bed, it would be a little too occupied. Try and get their connected rooms if you are travelling in large number.
The hotel serves amazing food. The breakfast is very tasty and the quantity is pretty sufficient too. My son enjoyed the in house khichdi from their kitchen on both days of our stay.
The rooms dont have a balcony so if you smoke, you'll either have to go down or find your way out.
The hotel staff is very helpful and quick at service.
The location is pretty bang on as everything you need is within a reach of 2-3 kms. Golden temple is at around 2-3 kms, katra wholesale market is at a walking distance.
The only thing that I want to bring to your notice is the basement parking and the approach to it. The hotel is inside of a narrow gully and the parking is good for hatchbacks so if you have a larger vehicle esp. An SUV, it would be a problem. Though the hotel staff is really helpful and cooperative but you wouldnt want to take your vehicle out once parked. We took public transport for visiting golden temple and nearby areas. It was way more convenient.
The hotel has free WIFI and the best part is the mini bar, everything is on MRP. I can consider it again if i vitait amritsar. Definitely recommended if travelling on a budget.

Read moreBudget, family friendly hotel in Amritsar. Staff is courteous and service is very quick. The best thing about the hotel is their generous sized inter-connected rooms which are perfect for families. We had two identical connected rooms which felt like one apartment with two rooms. All basic amenities are provided - towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, shower cap, toilet paper and are replenished every day. There is no hand towel but the towels are enough. Hot water and warm blankets made our winter travel comfortable.
Food is delicious. From the complimentary breakfast to the dinner we ordered, the food is fresh and wholesome. Sandwiches, Punjabi specialities like Kulcha chana, poori bhaji, parathas and even Chinese is perfectly made. Servings are huge!!! Another nice thing is that the stuff from the mini bar are priced at their actual rates. Kids could help themselves to the biscuits and chips without the fear of blowing up our budget. The only thing expensive was the bottled water at INR 50 a bottle. But if you ask room service, they will refill the jugs with regular water.
The highlight of the stay is their tour packages. Their drivers Sukhi and Seva made our sightseeing extra special by getting us VIP passes for Golden Temple darshan. Without Sukhi, it wouldn't have been possible to go all the way inside the Golden Temple. The queues are massive and it is not feasible to wait for hours with kids. Same for Wagah Border. Sukhi will get you VIP passes. They even helped out with the...
