I was craving samosa for a long time and when I landed in Amritsar, someone suggested this restaurant to me to try. The first impression was not so great as in the entrance itself they cook, wash utensils, showcase the food and accept payments. The rest of the restaurant is left for customers to sit and enjoy the food.
The Ambience is really unhygienic as the dust from the busy road keeps rushing into the food preparation area. The cleaning area is in bad condition and I highly doubt they clean the utensils thoroughly. That's why I refrained myself from getting tea. Even the tables were sticky and felt so gross.
Don't expect any good service from here. Servers are not much bothered in prioritising first comers and they serve at their will.
I had only samosa in here. Though there was no extraordinary factor in it, from a samosa stand point of view it was good. I liked it.
A word of caution for all those who visit this place for the first time, THEY ACCEPT ONLY CASH. No UPI or online payments. If you say you want to do UPI, the colour of their face charges and suddenly they start to treat you differently. Though they gave me an option to pay one of their servers through UPI, they were totally uneasy with this action. So carry cash before entering this place and help them to earn some black money.
Will I be back at this restaurant. Nope! Unhygienic environment, demand for cash payment and poor service will never let me visit this place...
Read moreI have heard a lot about this place but was no where near my expectations...it's overated, location is very unhygienic... Giving 50 rs for tea is not a big deal these days but one can expect atleast good taste but nothing like that happened in reality 👍
They have wide variety of breakfast items like Bread omelette, bread butter, samosa, kachori and tea's ...
We reached there at around 7 am and the place was already packed ,so we ordered Kachori, bread omelette and their very famous tea i.e badam pista chai ...
Kachori-- it was tasty , crispy and served hot no doubt it was much better than other items....will taste again for sure 😍 Bread omelette-- it was a normal plan omelette with no veggis .....taste was ok ok , didn't find anything new .. Badam pista chai-- very disappointed with this tea , firstly overpriced, taste was no where like a 50rs tea ...will not suggest anyone to try this 👍
Overall experience was average ,the only benefit is if u are reaching here in early morning then best place to hang out for a while 😍 Baki if u are looking for something called perfect tea to start a day then u are at wrong place😒

Read moreRating: ★☆☆☆☆ We visited Gaini Tea Stall after hearing about it on YouTube, specifically for the much-talked-about Badam Tea. Honestly, it was a huge letdown and definitely overhyped. We started with the Kachori for Rs 80, then tried the Paneer Pakoda for Rs 200, and finished with Bun Maska for Rs 40 and Badam Tea for Rs 80. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the Bun Maska, but everything else was subpar. The food quality was disappointing, and it felt like everything was just thrown together without much care. To add to the bad experience, there wasn't any menu written or given to us. After checking other reviews, we found that different people were charged different prices for the same items, which is very concerning. The hygiene standards were seriously lacking, which was a big turn-off. On top of that, the owner's attitude was far from welcoming, which made the experience even worse.
In conclusion, don't fall for the internet hype. It's an overpriced and underwhelming place with poor hygiene, inconsistent pricing, and bad customer...
