Mixed feelings, both negatives and positives. Good things were a extremely kind and hospitable host at the reception, available at late hours also, he adjusted with us few times, average cleanliness in rooms, allowed our driver basic provisions. Bad things include preparation of room was not good, AC switch not working in one room, TV without connection, no lift, washroom in pathetic condition in the other, we were in the hotel at odd hours so didn't have the time to get things repaired. We found the attendant to be very snoopy getting inside our rooms to check in. The power situation is very bad, they are very defensive about use of AC, geyser, need to inform before using, small electric equipment was not allowed if more than 15W power. They even went to the extent of confiscating such equipment. We wanted to shorten our stay to mutual benefit, but that was also not allowed. Food ordered via hotel was very costly. A Guest House which is just 500 mts away from Golden temple is owned by a Father and Son. You can easily see two Sardar Ji in the picture, they are the owners, why am I talking so much about them is all because they are such nice people who u can never find in whole of Punjab. They are Very polite , humble and kind. They talk well with you and guide you well too.

The location of this place is good, walking distance from Golden Temple, rooms are decently big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean, hot water available. We were happy enough with the location and rooms. But the thing that floored us the most was the hospitality of the owner Mr. BP Singh!
