Hotel Novelty Inn — Hotel in Punjab

The hotel is the closest you can find to the Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple, hardly at a walking distance of 2 minutes. We required a room for 4 adults which was not available, so they provided a room for 3. It had a double and a single bed, both covered by hair covered bed sheets and intolerably dirty pillow covers. There were spider webs here n' there. The staff didn't even sweep the floor well, and so it was all the time dirty and covered with hair. Bathroom had insects I'd never seen in life before. There were no bathroom essentials provided, we'd to buy of our own. The curtains and window glasses were covered with dust. The staff even switched off the mains of AC every now and then. They didn't have an inverter or generator, so when the electricity went off we'd have to sit without an AC (though the lights and fans were functional). Cleaning mirrors is definitely out of option. The room only had two power points, including one for the TV (of which the remote was to be asked from the reception, and was subscribed to only free channels). The drinking water which they provided was unfiltered. The room costed me Rs. 2100 after a hard bargain. We booked it for 37 hours. The hotel is in a prime location but gives you the worst experience. The staff is not friendly at all and the worst part, they cut off the power supply for the AC whenever they want to and you need to ask them every time to turn it on. You can’t have guests, not even your mother for an hour, they will start harassing you and ask to you buy another room. Last but not the least, the rooms and costly in terms of the facilities provided in return. You don’t get the basic toiletries...

It is excellent when i go there first tjme it was not so nice but know it has been maintained properly and been owned by a new owner who is using a lot of money to make her hotel best 👌 it is very close to golden temple and jalianwala bagh so it is a nice hotel but service will be available when full hotel will be maintained and full staff...
