During my trips in India to visit family and friends, I love to break up my stays with visits to Indias luxury hotels unfortunately this visit turned out to be one of my worst experiences in India. Once I got to the hotel, I realised there was an exhibition happening on the 5th,7th, 8th floors, the crowds outside the lifts were huge and people were pushing and shoving to get in out with the stench of sweat lingering in the lifts. I asked the front office on floor 5 if they had stairs and the staff member said no, after struggling with the lift access I conveyed my annoyance to the reception staff who decided to take me to the workers lift at the back where I walked through the kitchen staff, cleaning staff eventually coming to floor 9 for my room. After settling down my cousin and I decided to go and access the pool, we found some stairs since the main lifts were constantly full, the stairs had individuals from the exhibition smoking and being told off by a guard! Once we reached the 5th floor, a member of the front office took us to the pool where an individual without introducing himself from the pool, spoke to us abruptly in Hindi saying the pool is not part of our package, he had assumed we were part of the exhibition despite being in the presence of a front officer staff and telling him our room number. Once he realised his mistake, I gave the individual a verbal telling off on the way he spoke to us which we do not expect in hotel with a 5 star rating. The front office member of staff agreed that the pool guard failed in providing a quality service, the management acknowledged their mistake and apologised in person citing they have been ill prepared and overwhelmed with number of people at the exhibition with some trying to access hotel facilities. A manager came in person to see me and offered me free breakfast upon hearing the scenario. The following morning the breakfast staff insisted we pay and it was only when I took them to the duty manager that they acknowledged payment for this has been waived. I became fed up of using the lifts and the Radisson staff seemed overwhelmed and sheepish in response to the exhibition members. I became annoyed at paying over 10 000 rupees for a business room whilst receiving hospitality that would fall under 3 star, the response to my complaint was that the duty manger would personally chaperon me from the room to outside, I decided to spend as much time in the room itself which was decent. I would have spent the second night at Hyatt if it was not fully booked out. I have never thought I would have such a foul experience in a 5 star hotel in India, the experience was polar opposite to the likes of its competitors such as Hyatt or Taj. I would not be staying again but I will upload photos and videos once I return to my home country.

It's one of the two best hotels in the area. There's a shopping mall next door. The hotel's amenities are good, close to the city center. The hotel is well-managed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were especially helpful. I thank them all. They were always there to help. Breakfast was also very diverse, but as with all Indian hotels, it was geared primarily towards Indian customers. However, the variety and quality were good. The evening buffet had plenty of options, but like Dedpim, all the options were Indian cuisine. The restaurant staff constantly prepared something according to our preferences and did their best, so I'd like to thank all the restaurant staff again. There's another à la carte restaurant within the hotel that serves Chinese cuisine. Room was a second choice. I stayed for 20-25 days. I have a complaint about the breakfast room. I've also mentioned this to them, and the room gets very smoky, especially at breakfast, making it difficult to breathe. They need to find a solution. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, I was very satisfied. I highly recommend it. Greetings to all the hotel staff.

A Comfortable and Convenient Stay at Radisson Blu Ludhiana The Radisson Blu in Ludhiana is a solid 4-star experience, offering a great combination of comfort and convenience. The location is a huge plus—being right next to the MBD Mall makes it incredibly easy to catch a movie or do some shopping, which definitely enhanced our stay. The staff were truly humble and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are notably spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. We found the food service to be very fast, and our meals arrived promptly. The breakfast buffet is another highlight, offering a fantastic spread with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The swimming pool is a standout feature—it's very neat and clean, and quite large, perfect for a refreshing swim. While our overall experience was excellent, there was a slight delay with the housekeeping services, which could be improved. However, the rest of the service made up for it. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and smooth, making for a hassle-free start and end to our trip. Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Ludhiana.

We booked banquets for 50 pax engagement and 7 double occupancy rooms Services were horrible. The entire thing is justified after obtaining evidence of movie . So nothing is cooked up. Decorator Lakhwinder pushed by Ranveer was very unprofessional. He is the only one amongst the 3 decorators listed on Radisson contract to chose from . This guy was being pushed by Ranveer and he didnt decorate the walkway passage . When asked him the same time he said it was cancelled by my brother. They was no BTR in golden mentioning event details. Flower bouquet had turquoise paper on the outer part with no roses visible.hindi songs being played constantly inspite of mentioning prior. We had spent 3 full days getting everything into place.

  1. Additional 3 snacks were added to the menu which never served on tables as agreed with an exception of Pani Puri Live counter. Mocktails were only served until 8.30 Pm and with very few rounds which were later concluded just with rest of the soft beverages.
  2. We where we were forced to pay 100% in advance before function and alcohol was insisted to be settled there and then after dinner while we still had rooms occupied
  3. Buffet was entirely self service with the exception for Gulab jamun. It was strictly monitored by a waiter who was very reluctant while serving. Not his fault, its the management
  4. Large banquet of 200 was provided one day prior for 50 pax as we requested. However the table arrangement was scattered in extreme corners of the whole room with two tables along the side . It was clearly communicated in advance. It was so hard to walk over the entire space and establish and kind of communication with anyone. Family was in all different corners
  5. During snacks service there were hardly any waiters but when bride and groom were having dinner along with 4 other family member there were 5 to 8 stationary waiter behind their head with 4 more on service.
  6. the worst part, our room guests landed at 1 am , they had no Jet sprays , water in rooms , they were so tired .next day promised room moves happened 4 hours late while the whole family was delayed for the ceremonies. *To top it, everything was paid in advance in 100%. After our guests checked out and left we visited Ranveer Sales manager ( our contact person from beginning) . Lakhwinder came in as well and began defending for the decor that everything was in order. He argued that Punjabi songs were played but DJ confirmed he played hindi songs. He just flipped again saying some one from family requested for hindi songs. But Ranveer was so unprofessional he eloped some discussion and never returned back even after waiting for an hour. We never knew a brand like Radisson would be give us sucha horrifying experience. They ruined our close knit family engagement for 50 guests. Please go to the Hyatt. Its just 1 minute further connected with Wave Mall Life time experience ruined . Wreckless money was spent here bjt all in vain.Neither stay was good nor the function , music, decor,...

Dear friends,

I was in town for two weeks and decided to stay at this hotel due to the good name that Radisson carry for its hotels. However I could only stay here for two days as I could not bear the bad attitude and lying staff. This is the first ever four star hotel where in after staying for two days I decided to check out as the hotel management and staff has total lackadaisical towards its customers. The staff here initially agreed on some room rent however after first day told me that i will be charged more than that actually twice of initial amount. When I disagreed they told me they will get back to me, however that did not happen and later I was texted a message saying that I will be charged twice of initial amount and conveyed apology for the same. So staff here will tell you something and later on they will not even agree to what they had said earlier and will lie about it. On contacting the management they also showed complete disregard towards my issue and was only interested in getting money. Their staff totally disagreed on there initial statements and was not ready to accept their mistake. So friends my advice to you is simple, Don't only go by the name of Radisson they will let you down badly. I had to speak to 10 people to get my issue sorted out in respect of my room rates which invariably in the end did not get resolved due to there attitude towards there guests and had to wait for two hours at the reception where in I ran out of my patience and elected to shell out extra money from my pocket and check out, as I did not want to spend even one second extra at this hotel. So lesson learnt, there are many good hotels in Ludhiana where you can stay and have good time than to waste your time with people who do not care for...
