Mall Road Residency — Hotel in Sikkim

Eventhough people are amazing in Sikkim one.thing.you notice.about sikkim is its a bit more expensive compared to.Darjeeling with a little less service and.laid back folks.I Appreciate front office for sending a person to take me to the hotel location from Pantaloons MG Marg Mall road where I was waiting. Hotel location is amazing and just need to climb down steps to reach Mall road near pantaloons. Its around half a KM or so to gangtok rope way. However I would not recommend people who have difficulty in climbing steps to stay here. Further the employees are really humble and supportive but the management needs to improve facilities such as Geyser which does not work 99.99 times out of 100. This is an important factor for me specially in a hill station. If non availability of hot water(geyser not working) and climbing steps in not an issue, this is a good hotel to stay. Our four-night stay at Magpie Mall Road Hotel left us with a mixed bag of experiences, but one aspect truly shone— the remarkable hospitality extended by Mr. Praveen and the entire staff. Despite the average nature of our stay, Mr. Praveen's sweetness and unwavering helpfulness were the highlight of our visit. His constant attentiveness and ever-present smile made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Sharing my opinion after staying 2 nights 3 days in Magpie Mall Road Residency through make my trip App. Needs to be Rectify: No intercom in the room. You have to call them over personal phone for any requirement. Food price is too much high as compared to outside. Room price vary to standard/ Delux/ Super Delux Rooms but I could not find any difference between standard/ Delux/ Super Delux Rooms, only a very small size difference.
