Our group of 14 stayed there for one night only last week...but the warmth and positive vibes we received was so genuine that we tried to book the place for our further stay...but it was all booked for next few days(our bad luck). The accommodation was top notch...rooms, bed, washroom all well maintained nd clean.. Hostel is located at MG marg from where everything is easily accessible... Whole team of mellow fellow is exceptionally friendly...they don't just give you a place to stay they make you feel like a family, their hospitality is like a warm hug in the chilly weather of gangtok.we booked the place with the help of Annie, she was such a warm hearted person, solved all our queries so politely.. Sonam one of the host helped us to arrange cab and accommodation for our visit to lachung and zero point too...that facility provided was top notch too and pocket friendly too(not to mention we were at mellow fellow just for a night)..it is rare to find such a gem at an unknown place . Budget friendly accommodation with such a pleasant staff.. Common room was the life of the place...they had karaoke, board games, etc ..Special thanks to sonam for making our stay so amazing and safe...sonam's voice was such a heavenly feeling ...we danced till late night... common room's environment was so lively n lit that you would say that yes for this kind of experiences we explore new places.. Overall a safe and lively place to stay..home away from home.. Thank you mellow fellow...(madhur saathi) Will recommend everyone...

I am from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. If you're planning a trip to Gangtok and looking for the perfect place to stay — look no further than Mellow Fellow Hostel, located right in the heart of the city on the vibrant MG Marg. We stayed here for 2 nights and honestly, it felt just like home.
The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The common area is a vibe of its own — perfect for chilling, meeting fellow travelers, or just enjoying the amazing energy of the place. But what truly sets Mellow Fellow apart is the incredible service and the warmth of the staff.
A huge shoutout to Mr. Dawa and Mr. Sonam — these two are not just staff, they feel like family. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like we belonged. Their hospitality is unmatched, and their positive energy fills the entire hostel.
And the cherry on top? Sonam’s live concert in the common area! What an experience — music, laughter, good vibes — it’s something we’ll never forget.
On behalf of myself and my entire group, we want to say a heartfelt thank you. We didn’t just find a hostel, we found a home in Sikkim. We’ll definitely be back — not just for the beautiful mountains, but because of the beautiful people like Sonam and Dawa who made this trip unforgettable.
Lots of love from all of us – see you...
