Very difficult location. Avoid if with family and need good services.

Not felt it like a 3 star as shown on App. Reasons are as below.

They have only one family room. No second option. That too is only in the basement. Open window there is generator you wouldn't be able to breathe. No food in the hotel, they get it from outside. What they get is frozen type food. 2/ No electricity back up. If light goes at night, you are in darkness as they will make generator up only in the morning at 6. My wife had anxious attack when light went and they didn't start generator. 3/ Generator sound will not let you sleep. 4/ WIFI will not work for sure. 5/Arrogant manager,I cancelled on second day but they denied refund. 6/ Heater would not work when generator is working. Heater is chargeable separately per night. 7/ Location is difficult to reach and now no entry sign is there when reaching hotel, another way is thr but does not allow to reach easily. 8/ Hotel Ratings at apps seem to be false. I recently stayed at Muscatel Hotel Gangtok and had an extremely disappointing experience. The service was abysmal, and the hotel lacked basic amenities that one would expect.

First and foremost, there was no lift available. This made it incredibly difficult to up with stairs on third floor , especially when you come after travel.

To make matters worse, the air conditioning and fan were both non available in rooms. When we requested a pedestal fan, it was finally provided but stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us in an uncomfortable and sweltering room.

The room and washroom were infested with mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep or feel clean and comfortable in the space. Despite our complaints, no effective measures were taken to address this issue.

Overall, the stay was a nightmare. I would not recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience. It was truly one of the worst hotel stays I...
