CHEATING. Update: They called me after posting the reivew and asked for booking voucher - as if, they are going to take action. I clearly told, our trip is over and you guys messed the stay and nothing can be done now. They said someone will call and talk. I knew nothing can be done. Its been 4 months, as expected no one called after providing the booking voucher and details.
So BIG NO to this place and in initial review I didnt mention about the other hotel which we stayed with good comfort- thinking it might look like promotion.But I dont mind that about now, we stayed at
ZIBE Salem by GRT hotels, in GRT - Stay was fantastic , food was excellent and service was nice. Its your call guys.
Initial review below: We booked in advance for 2 adults and 1 child via agoda and paid full amount. But to our surprise they said, we didnt mention about child and additional amount will be charged for a kid. I showed the booking voucher and mail confirmation where it mentioned about adult and child count.
They were least bothered and said, its not mentioned in their end , so amount will be charged for extra bed. Later they said, we have to adjust in the same bed.
I dont want to discuss further, since my kids were watching us and moved on to take my bags.
They looted money but they didnt give comfort stay.
Overall my stay was not good even after paying full amount for adults and kid and felt cheated without providing additional bed.
After a week, we stayed in famous hotel(dont want to mention the name since it might look like promoting other hotel) and had a wonderful stay.
Do-not carried away with google reviews.
If you have booked for your kids, call them and get it confirmed via mail...

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Rathna Residency in Salem. Upon visiting the hotel directly to inquire about rooms, the reception staff was rude, dismissive, and spoke in a highly inappropriate and judgmental tone. When we asked for further clarification, he avoided responding properly and behaved in a manner that lacked basic professionalism.
Since the interaction was so unpleasant, we requested to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, the situation worsened. The manager displayed an even more unacceptable attitude, refusing to engage with us. His response was blunt and disrespectful: “ we very well know in all hotel when we check in we need to pay an advance payment, but while speaking he was like pay the full amount now with a worst tone of voice.” Such words and behavior from a reputed establishment are completely unacceptable.
We specifically chose this branch because Rathna Residency in other locations has always offered us good service, but this experience has left us regretting our decision. The way customers are treated here made us feel uncomfortable, unsafe, and unwelcome.
To the administration: If this behavior continues, you will lose loyal customers like us. Immediate action is necessary to train your staff on hospitality and customer service.
To potential visitors: if you value your dignity and self-respect, this is not the right hotel for you. There are far better options that treat guests with the courtesy and respect...
Read moreOne star is just for the room maintenance. Beware do not book a banquet hall with this place. Extremely poor service. They say the hall is free and the cost is only for food which is supposed to be buffet. But unfortunately some of the dishes will get over very quick and their justification for it is just lame as their service.
I had one of the most unpleasant experience ever. My hall booking timing was untill 10pm and without even our knowledge all the ac in the hall was turned off at 9pm itself. And to make it even worse only when we ask them to turn on a ac they will untill then it's only one ac which will function. Very poor customer service.
