Jai Bharath Residency — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

JAI BHARATH RESIDENCY It is located in arcot road near old bustand and only 500 m away from CMC HOSPITAL and exactly opposite to DHINA THANTHI office. They have both AC and NON AC rooms .Its been priced 1300 rs for AC and 900 rs for NON AC per day. Rooms are compact and comfortable but bathroom is quite small. They have both INDIAN TYPE and WESTERN TYPE so choose according to your needs. Booking and check-in is very simple process and staffs are quite friendly. They do not have any check in and check out timing limit, so it is between the 24 hours of your check in timing which is appreciable. Car parking facility is available . Hot water facility is available . Lift facilty is available. Wifi facilty is also available. They provide bathroom kit as soap and shampoo only. Water bottle is not provided but they have can water facility . They mainly do not provide towels which I personally don’t like but they have their reason for that, so make sure to carry your own towel for the stay. The other thing which is don’t like is their TV service. You can only switch channels between the free channels ( mosltly news channels and kalaigner TV ) not any single paid channel ( sun music , vijay tv etc ). We have stayed here many times from last year to visit CMC. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The bathroom cleanliness was the main point for our return to the same hotel. The rooms are facing a long balcony which is open to a view of the hills and not into concrete like most other buildings near CMC. Also the rates are not bad with 800 for non Ac and 1300 for Ac. But if you don't mind another 200, the deluxe rooms offer a better mattress and the hot water in the bathroom tap. The owner is friendly and around to help and the staff are very friendly too. They will get you food from nearby shops at any time and also the kitchen in ground flood is a help to cook if needed. Non ac rooms for rs.800. Rooms are clean, well maintained, well ventilated, with tv , clean bathroom, beautiful wardrobe and large enough bed. Hospitality is great. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They arrange for pickup and drop too. No restaurant though, a person will deliver you homemade north/ south indian food on demand, which is palatable at a reasonable price (we got decent amount of north Indian food at first night of arrival, @ rs. 280 just for 5people).
