Visited a lot of times when we came to vellore.. It is situated right opposite to the CMC Hospital, vellore campus. It is totally veg restaurant with quality food items. The food items are really great in taste. Prices are reasonable for some items and prices are high too for some items. Especially, you can explore South Indian food here and you will not be disappointed. Staff behaviour is good. Meals like Rice and Roti are also available here. Main courses like Fried rice is available along with a lot of item options like paneer , mushroom Gobi , babycorn etc and they taste great. Evening snacks like veg noodles, paneer noodles, mushroom noodles, chola Puri etc are available here. Hot beverages like tea , coffee, milk , horlicks etc and different cold drinks are also available here. Beside everything, this is a restaurant specialised in South Indian foods. They provide Foods in the banana leaves which adds extra elegancy and aristocracy. The restaurant accepts online payment. Food is decent, price is fair. However the staff at this hotel is horrible. This was our 3rd visit but will be our last. There's this server who doesn't know how to talk to customers. We had visited this hotel after hectic day at CMC for a late lunch only for my senior citizen father to be shouted at. Scum server even went so far as to point fingers and shoo him. The management did not care enough to reprimand this rude person. Only when my parents confronted them did they give a quick apology(okay okay sorry) to get it over with. Is this how you treat customers? We are paying for food, service and instead you insult us as if you're giving us free food? Customers with sick, elderly or non tamilian family members are better off avoiding this hotel which I doubt would've gotten any business outside of CMC ecosystem especially with this kind of disgusting behaviour. This is located just opposite to CMC main campus. Among the few other south indian food restaurants nearby , this restaurant is comparatively much better. The dosa alongwith the sambar and chutney tastes really good . I have been here couple of times during my visits to Vellore. In my first visit, the server was really rude , didn't have any basic courtesy at all. And he literally demanded tips upfront when I was paying the bill. When I refused, surprisingly , he cursed me for not giving any money to him. I took my chance later again here, as there are not much decent restaurants near CMC. That time another waiter served us , he was cordial and attentive so I gave him a tip willingly. They must know, a tip can only be earned, not forced.
