Had an amazing experience at Sai Vijaydurg last weekend with my office friends. The ambience created a perfect setting, and the service was exceptional. A must-visit for a delightful culinary and dining experience! The place is located at Gokul Nagar, Majiwada which is at epicentre lf Thane.
The non-veg thali was an absolute delight, bursting with flavors. I tried Surmai thali (5/5) which just exceeded my expectations. The perfectly cooked Surmai fish, accompanied by a variety of flavorful sides, showcased culinary excellence. The freshness and quality of ingredients were evident, making it a delightful seafood dining experience. Highly recommended for seafood enthusiasts!
Chicken Malvani Thali (5/5) is a true delight for chicken lovers. The assortment of well-spiced chicken dishes, paired with flavorful sides, creates a satisfying and authentic dining experience. The generous portions and diverse flavors make it a top choice for those craving a hearty and delicious chicken feast.
Veg65 (5/5)- Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, each bite is bursting with flavorful spices. The perfect balance of textures and the enticing blend of spices make it a must-try.
The staff were well trained and provided exceptional service. Their attentiveness and friendliness elevated the overall dining experience. From prompt assistance to genuine smiles, the service was impeccable. Kudos to the staff for making our visit memorable with their outstanding hospitality.

Read moreInitially, I received good food, attentive services and a friendly atmosphere. Later, I have no choice but to eat food which is not cooked fresh. They provide food which needs to be cooked again and again and again. Eg, rice bhakri is not at all fresh and one can easily understand at a glance without eating. Their intention is to provide hot food and not fresh (quality) food. Service is okish. Each time, you have to ask them for fried noodles for soup or schezwan chutni for chicken starters. Their salad is made and served unhealthy. Not at all freshly chopped vegetables. They failed to provide fresh quality food.
Foodies who prefer tasty and quality food might not prefer to visit again. Take out or home delivery is a bad choice. As dine in is poor and take out is pathetic.
Have a decency to ask for customer needs and don't assume. Please follow what the customer needs. Eg, I specifically said no aginomoto in soup or crispy chicken starters.
Failure to update their menu. Few items are not served due to different excuses. Genuine reasons are acceptable.
Choice is yours. I made a choice, not to visit again. Even after letting them know a constructive opinion.
We usually prefer to have starters and occasionally, thali. Starter food needs proper instructions. Humble request to provide fresh food. I don't know how many times they prepare one bhakri. It is cooked several times maybe. Freshly cooked Rice bhakri is very soft texture and taste wise and not hard to chew. The outside boundary of bhakri is hard. One needs to remove...
Read moreDelicious food @ super pocket friendly price. And turns out to be absolute satisfying for non-veg lovers! Don't expect to get authentic Konkani food but try it as a casual option on a weekend or when you are alone & pondering where to eat. Plus point is their Thali system at reasonable price & minus point is all gravies taste similar. (Taste of Mutton & chicken gravy in the Thali was same!) You won't find any difference in the taste so better go for cost effective one. Must try Chicken masala fried Thali, vade instead of bhakari and prawns!!! It has Chinese menu, Maharashtrian food & specialized for Thali concept,We tried two Thalis.. Chicken Masala fried Thali : 10/10 Chicken Sukka : 6/10 (thick chicken gravy could be little tastier) Solkadhi : 4/10 (was more watery, it could be better by adding proper coconut milk instead of too much water but taste was okay) Vade : This is must try to eat along with chicken or mutton instead of preferring chapati or bhakari. Size is big, oil free n very tasty n soft. Thali cost between Rs. 210-260 which is sufficient for 2 persons. Cost for 4persons around Rs.900 -1000/- & if you take fish then little more than this but is super worth the taste n quantity that you get. Nice for a quick weekend dining for friends, couples & Family too. Located just besides hotel United 21
Wheelchair accessible entrance as well as you can park 1 or 2 cars too.
4* is only given for the reasonable price & the sufficient quantity that they provide or else 3* after visiting...
