Great Ganga Palace Hotel near Ganga in Varanasi — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

The room was ok and the distance for temple and Ghat was also pretty good from the hotel. But the room service was too ridiculous. At 1st they behaved so nicely but exactly on the last day suddenly they changed their behavior. And don't believe that owner (Ankit),that guy will tell u everyday to buy Banarasi sarees and all from their shop only,he will tell u to use their cars for any tour and at 1st too nicely He will tell u that he is giving discount for u as u r staying at his hotel but at the end moment he will take it from u in any way. And There is one thin guy(i don't know his name but he is working there,color- black and height some 5.5inch and very thin) he thinks he is the owner of that hotel. I have never seen such an idiot like him. Why!! Becoz... We were there just 1 week back and they're not providing Gyeser at this winter morning time. We called them everyday for that and they didn't tell anything but on the last day after cleared the payments, that guy is telling too rudely that we were getting so many calls from ur room only.🙄(to geyser on kar dete before asking daily,call kar k tera haal thodi...

The hotel is not well maintained. The washroom taps are leaky, telephone doesn't work, no proper drinking water facility and no dinning place. We repeatedly asked them to change the mattress while they kept saying laundry has not arrived. They have a syndicate sort of with some shop owners (Shubham sarees) nearby and on pretext of helping us the hotel guy took us to those shops of banarasi silk saying they were best in the town.Later we found that the shops belonged to hotel owner. They have connections with auto rickshaw also and we tourists tend to believe that they are helping while they might actually be taking lot of commission. Initially, they look very helpful but by the time of checkout, they rushed us out of hotel saying that here was next booking while actually none came for next one hour we waited outside. They have a syndicate sort of with some shop owners nearby and on pretext of helping us the hotel guy took us to those shops saying they were best in the town.
