*BAD OR I CAN EVEN SAY WORST EXPERINCE
SO, where can I start, let’s start from the beginning.
Check In : - So My booking is for Mountain view room including breakfast, at the time of check-in Staff at the reception told , that the guest was about to check out at 12:30 and once the guest checked out they will shift us to the other room , so they offered us room number 202 (NO MOUNTAIN VIEW /normal room) , So, I said ok for sometime, then around 1 or 1:30 I called to reception to ask for the shifting they said , the guest requested for the late check-out once they check out the will informed us and we can shift then, so I said ok , we have waited till 5 or 6pm for their call but nothing happened , then we move out for roaming around and when returned to the hotel, and what I see the room opposite to mine is empty (I think it is 203 or 204 something like that) but they never informed us not even asked for shifting. “ WHICH WAS REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE TO SEE THAT”.
Meal : As I earlier mentioned my booking is including breakfast , and at the time of check in I asked them, ki “ breakfast buffet hota hai ya room me hota hai” they replied “Sir, menu dedenge apko aap room me order kr lena” , I said Ok, but when I ordered breakfast , the helper boy came up with the meal and the Bill , And I said my booking is with breakfast he said “sir pay to krna pdega” ya to niche aajao…I DON’T like his tone…then ok….i went for the reception ,where the vendor of the restaurant where they ordered breakfast was standing, but his reception staff or manager was not there helper boy called him. When he came helper boy go to him “mean while that vendor said “ AREY KYA HAI YAR TUM LOGO KA” which was really very embarrassing situation , and when the staff arrived at counter I showed him booking that booking is including breakfast , he said ok ok, and I left , and take the lift , helper boy called me and I again go to reception , then that so called manager said, that breakfast is for 100rs. Per person, then I showed then booking that it is not written there , even you not informed us, he said “ nhi nhi, breakfast ka bus 100rs per person he hai”, then what should I say, I paid them 200 at hotel paytm , but this should be informed to us while booking or moreover while check-in , this is likely to be fraud to us , “ IN THIS EXPERIENCE IS EMBARRASSING & CHEATED”
CLEANINESS : After facing so much in a very short span of time , when I went out for roaming something around 11:30 or 12:00 I handed over room key at the counter , and requested for cleaning, staff said “ cleaning wale to nikal gye ab to dekhna pdega, koshish krte hai” it’s already understood that cleaning was not going to happen , and when returned to the room around 2 pm, I was right, room was in same condition how I left it, then I called then to ask for the towel , then staff said “ laundry vala to aaega abhi 2:30-3 bje tak tab bhijvata hu” I said ok, I literally waited for approx. 1hr but nothing happened, then went for the shower , “THIS EXPERINCING ME THE IRRESPONIBLE HOTEL STAFF”
LACK OF EXPERIENCE : After all that I literally abusing GOIBIBO , then when was about to take nap around 10:30pm , suddenly room bell rings , first thought was it was for near by rooms , so I ignored , but it rings again , then I surprised “khi ab to towel dene ni aagya” jokes apart , when door open , hotel boy was there with blanket and asked “aapne kambal manga tha” I denied of course then he said “pta ni kisne manga tha” , toh bhai ek notepad rkhlo kharid k dimag me excel ya reminder inbuilt to hoga ni to automatic yaad aajaye kisne kya manga tha. “ THIS IS SUCH A LACK OF EXPERICE TO HOTEL STAFF”.
Then I have not wasted my time with the property and changed my room to the other one .not waited for the next morning .
I was not that person who writes bad review to anyone but that was height of my patience , I think that was my last booking with the GOIBIBO if they are offering so bad properties to their clients ,
I REALLY WANT REFUND FOR THE BELOW MENTIONED...

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Amenities : 0 Wifi : only ground floor accessible Room service : 0
I recently embarked on my first trip to India with great anticipation, hoping for a memorable stay in the beautiful city of Haridwar. Unfortunately, my experience at the Mountain View hotel turned out to be a major disappointment that I feel compelled to share.
Let's start with the positives: the hotel's location was undeniably convenient. Situated near the bustling street market and Har ki Pauri, it provided easy access to popular attractions. However, that's where the positives end.
From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I encountered a series of issues that left me thoroughly dissatisfied. The language barrier was a significant problem, as none of the front desk staff spoke English. As a foreign traveler, this made communication incredibly challenging and left me feeling isolated and frustrated.
To make matters worse, the hotel seemed ill-prepared for international guests. Despite being a newly established establishment, it was evident that they lacked the necessary infrastructure and trained staff to cater to a diverse clientele. It was disheartening to see young school kids manning the front desk, unable to provide any substantial assistance.
The most concerning aspect was the lack of cleanliness and basic amenities. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a thick layer of dust covering everything, from the floor to the bedsheets. It was clear that proper cleaning standards were not being maintained. I was shocked to discover that towels were insufficient, and I had to request additional ones just to clean the floor myself. The overall lack of hygiene was deeply disappointing.
Furthermore, the hotel failed to provide even the most basic amenities. There were no toiletries, drinks, or cups in the room, leaving me to question their commitment to guest comfort. The water supply was weak, depriving me of a refreshing shower after a long day of exploration.
The common areas of the hotel were equally disheartening. The ground floor emitted an unpleasant odor reminiscent of a public restroom, and the sight of underwear and panties hanging along the staircase was utterly inappropriate and unprofessional. The first floor was in complete disarray, and to top it all off, the elevator was out of order.
In conclusion, my stay at the Mountain View hotel was far from satisfactory. I want to emphasize that my intention in writing this review is not to maliciously harm their business, but rather to provide honest feedback for the hotel to improve its services for future guests. I genuinely believe that constructive criticism is essential for any establishment to grow and meet customer expectations.
I hope the management of the Mountain View hotel takes this feedback seriously and works towards addressing the issues mentioned. With improvements in communication, cleanliness, and the provision of basic amenities, they have the potential to offer a much more pleasant and satisfying experience for their guests.
Travelers, please be cautious when considering a stay at the Mountain View hotel. Take my experience into account and explore other options available in the area that may provide a more enjoyable and comfortable stay...
Read moreHotel Mountain View is an excellent choice for a stay in Haridwar. It is located just 2 km from Har Ki Pauri and is surrounded by Gujarati and North Indian restaurants. The rooms are clean and the washrooms are tidy with hot water all the time. The hotel also provides bottled mineral water and soaps complimentary. The hotel has the lift too.
One of the best things about the hotel is the view from the 3rd floor and the terrace. You can see the river Ganga and the mountains from here. The river Ganga is just a block away so you can get your tea and sit near ghat in the morning or evening and enjoy the view.
I also appreciated that I was able to park my car in front of the hotel itself. This was a big plus, as parking in Haridwar can be difficult.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Mountain View to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay...
