Hotel Orchid Inn — Hotel in Uttarakhand

The hotel is located 10 mins walk from the Ghats, looks ok in the pictures - but power cut is a big problem in the city, and they don't have a silent Genset! So be prepared for dug dug dug sounds of the genset - like most of the day! and While on genset, the AC won't work. The rooms were very cramped, with almost no windows, except for one opening in the shaft. The outside noise travels inside very easily, ensure you stay alert all night!||||The room designs were very forced, the food was very very average food with not much variety. The service was very slow, room was just sufficient for 2 people, 2 more guests and you are out of space to sit- well almost. Water went out twice during the stay in the tiny lil bathroom...||||It's cheap, good location, but if the comfort is not what you are looking for - then this may be a choice. They have parking space at the back of the hotel, which can get a bit messy as it's a very narrow lane, and the parking space is in the building, but can accomodate only 4-6 cars, and if someone has applied hand breaks, you are stuck till that person is found and you are rescued! They all are frod... I booked my room before 1month with full paid, on booking time said me that is 2star hotel, bt this hotel like a "basti". When we gone our room already booked by others. Specially Vicky is most 3rd class person. He told me that he called the police. On that time I called my brother and he called MP. And after some time my brother talked with hotel supervisor. After that he told me they sorrow for their behaviour. They gave us a dangerous room. My father was saved for friction of moment. Intercum nt wrking. Toilet door not locked. Wifi system, generator nt wrking. They dnt clean the toilet n room. Their misbehaviour like a animal. They are very dangerous person, specially vicky n his brother in law.
