When we reached the premise of the ticket counter there was huge people in the queue. We have to wait for near about 35 to 40 minutes in the queue for the booking of the uraan khotola tickets. The ticket prices are very high. If you cut combined ticket for both maa Chandi Devi and Mata Mansa Devi temple then it will cost almost 445 rupees per head and if you cut one ticket for maa Chandi Devi and one for mata Mansa Devi then it will cost more. After booking the tickets we go through the purse and body security checking and then entered the rope way area. In each rope way there are four seats which means you may have to share the rope way journey with other people as well to cut short the waiting time for others. After sitting in the "rope way" or "uraan khotola" it started moving upward and like that our journey started. The scenery was indeed beautiful and eye catching, the whole journey was for 8 to 10 minutes hardly. I clicked some pictures during the safar as for memory. After that we reached our destination and get down from the rope way and started walking towards the Mandir. Read moreMy visit to Mansa Devi temple was a spiritual journey marred by the disheartening experience of the cable car service. The supposed convenience for devotees turned out to be a chaotic affair. The queue resembled a sea of people standing shoulder to shoulder, creating an overwhelming and seemingly unmanaged situation. Surprisingly, amidst this jam-packed crowd, there was a notable absence of personnel overseeing the service.

However, once inside the temple premises, the ambiance shifted dramatically. The serenity and beauty of Mansa Devi temple provided a stark contrast to the chaotic journey. The spiritual experience within the temple was profound, instilling a desire to return despite the challenges faced during the cable car ordeal. The divine atmosphere and the sanctity of the temple left an enduring positive impression, eclipsing the initial difficulties encountered on...
Read moreThe excessive waiting time can significantly impact the overall experience. Initially, you must endure long queues for tickets, and the ticket price is 129 Rs. Afterward, you're faced with a 2.5-hour wait for the ride itself. While there is a large hall in the waiting area, it's often insufficient given the demand. The trolley allows a maximum and minimum of 4 people at a time, and the ride itself is quite short, lasting only 3 minutes and 25 seconds. However, it does provide a captivating aerial view of Haridwar during the ride.
Unfortunately, the return journey entails another 2.5-hour wait. In total, the entire process can take up to 5-6 hours of your day. If you're physically fit and time is of the essence, you might want to consider alternative means of transportation...
