Hotel Lajja Palace — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Ok so I booked a room simply over a single call the receptionist of the hotel are very cooperative. Coming to the price the room tariff they offered us was cheap and best and I shall assure you that you would not get any better options all over Haridwar at this budget. The rooms were well furnished and looks classics I would not comment over the size of the room because they have wide range of rooms, the room we booked was not that much spacious but what more would someone expect at cost. The property is old so you might get few things not working properly but never mind as the staffs are always ready to help you. In my room the Air conditioner was a bit noisy and water was dripping from it. The staffs bought the mechanic to repair it but unfortunately that time we were not in the room so we rather choose to adjust with it. Then comes the location it’s walking distance from all the railway station as well as all the ghats. And it is on the main road so even if you are planning to go a bit far you can easily get an e-rickshaw in seconds. Yes I would highly recommend hotel lajja palace for everyone who is visiting Haridwar . And it is absolutely perfect for family stays as well. Hoping my review help...

The hotel owner is a fraudulent person, we stayed for two days 17 and 18 march 2024. When we stayed on the first day and got breakfast lunch and dinner from the hotel and then the second day we went for the rushikesh and told them we were not coming for lunch and dinner. After telling them, they still made dinner and charged full payment of dinner. And we refused to pay the hotel owner , he tried to complain about the file against us and threatened us that we wouldn't leave the haridwar until the full payment of 37 people's dinner. The owner used bad language to our ladies and also forcefully charged full payment i.e. 12590 rs for a single dinner. I suggest that you don't go to this hotel for a half hour or a day. After recommendation from a friend we opt for lajja palace(their's board is of lajja palace).although its a clean hotel but the reception manager is so rude and waiter tooo.rooms were on triple occupancy each and charged for the same but denied to give towels for same no persons as they have rule for 1 towel to each room.never seen kind of police anywhere. 2 point is if you wish to bring packed meal from market they refuses to give plates and bowls for meal as if u take order from our restaurant then from where we will earn for restaurant and how will pay salary to our staff......they have their own policy.never seen such type of property,and hotel staff and manager...not ever ever recommend to any one...the only positive point is that is in main market thats it...pls dont ever check in to...
