Hotel Orien Residency — Hotel in Uttarakhand

We had a very nice stay at the Orion Residency. The very friendly stuff rescued us after some appartementhotel in the neighbourhood tried to cheat us. The Hotel is relatively new, very clean and had all the basics we needed (f.e. wlan, enough hot water, etc.) for a very reasonable price. The stuff was very helpful (though not really speaking english) but the travel agency next to the hotel belongs to the same family and helped as much as possible. The location is also good, easy to reach by riksha or taxi and after a five minutes walk you are in the middle...

Location of this hotel is very good. Laxman jhula and the market is just a walk away. The rooms are clean and maintained. No complaint with the bathrooms and toilets, Although they don't have room service. Who needs a room service when all the stuff you need is down satirs. Many shops around the hotel from clothing to food and snacks to adventure. A bit pricey considering...

We came for one night and had a very bad experience. It was super noisy at night, The manager was very not nice, didn't even tell us how to put hot water, didn't provide us towels until we asked for some, wanted 200 roopies more for one hour late in the checkout although it was because there was no hot water. Stay away from this place, even 400 roopies...
