JP Hotel Chennai — Hotel in Zone 10 Kodambakkam

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at JP Hotel Chennai, where I booked a two-day stay with banquet services through Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd.

Firstly, the management's behavior was shockingly poor. From the moment I checked in, I encountered nothing but rudeness and unprofessionalism. The staff seemed indifferent to guests' needs and displayed a lack of basic courtesy. Any request for assistance was met with disinterest, and the overall attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming.

The restaurant experience was equally disheartening. The food quality was subpar, with dishes that tasted stale and poorly prepared. It was evident that fresh ingredients were not a priority. Additionally, the service was slow and inattentive, making the dining experience even more frustrating.

The banquet services, which were a significant part of our booking, were equally disappointing. The setup was poorly organized, and the staff lacked coordination and professionalism, detracting from the overall event experience.

Overall, JP Hotel Chennai failed to meet even the most basic expectations of hospitality. This only positive point about the hotel is location. The reception is nicely built and apart from that nothing was good . Rooms were very basic and food menu was extremely limited but the hotel was unnecessarily pricey. The service was extremely poor we need to stand appx 25 mins to check in . The staff took that much time only for our 2 person entry. Food was very basic and only few choices u hv . The comforter given in the hotel was so cheap quality that will stuck at one place when you sleep. I didn’t like anything about the hotel. Before check in we called them and specifically asked whether restaurant is there or not n we will require some food for my kid. They said they will definitely provide the service after that we did the booking. On the day of check out we asked him to prepare some food for baby as we need to travel n carry the food but they completely denied n said they can provide it after 12 pm. After so many complaints finally they provided the rice prepared for curd rice n by lunch time when I had to feed the kid it was completely stale . I used to pass through this hotel daily but look of the hotel from outside never tempted me to venture inside. But today when I happened to visit this restaurant (Sea Breeze) for a Sunday night buffet, I had to change all my apprehensions.

Once you enter the hotel gate, you can handover the car to the valet parking staff and go the buffet restaurant at the first floor of the JP Hotel. The buffet hall is very spacious, well lit with good interior. The floor staff would greet you at the main door and lead you to the table. Baby chair would be provided if you need one.

The buffet spread is pretty good with variety to satisfy the taste buds of both vegan and the pure carnivorous like me. The non veg dishes include mutton, fish, chicken and eggs.
