Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Today I went for Lunch since the name is reputated. But my experience became worse today. I ordered Mushroom biriyani and got Pudhina biriyani. When I asked there was no response. When I asked to call the manager he said ok and went away. Again the most important part happened I ordered 2 Lime soda (Sweet) and he severed salted I asked him this is not the one I ordered he said this is sweet. Me and my family members tasted it and found it salty. After this he said ok I will replace it but then the ultimate thing happened he brought up "Sugar syrup" And said mix this to that you will get Sweet taste. I called upon the manager the manage simply removed the Juice glasses from my table and throw it to into a tray and said remove that from the bills and give them a bill.

So you don't care about Customer service and opinion after growing into a big brand. Do you think that customers can be ok with whatever you do. How do you see someone coming to your table removing a glass and throwing it away in front of you and say remive from bill and give them a bill. Totally ADAYAR ANANDHA BHAVAN has turned into Adavadi...

Very bad experience. They have mentioned that outlet is open at 7 AM and the shutter was open at 6:50am when we went. When we were about to go inside , security told food will be late and for which we told that is fine. Lady inside confirmed that food will be available from 7AM. After we were seated, same security guy started shouting that you cannot sit inside and told us that food will take 45mins even though outlet is open from 7 AM. He asked us to leave the place though it was 6:55AM already. We did argue on the opening time shown on google and on the shop outside which is 7AM. We left the place and stood outside for 20mins and we were allowed inside only after 7:20AM. If shop is open only by 7:45AM as mentioned by the security why are you guys showing open time as 7am causing inconvenience...

Pl note: This AAB is opposite CMBT (Koyambedu Bus Terminus). It's neat and clean. Moderately expensive. Pure vegetarian. Dining hall (2nd Floor) is fully air-conditioned, so it's a cozy place to retreat to from the sweltering heat of Chennai. I had a mini-meal that cost Rs.100/=. I think the price was reasonable. Table service was quick. The restaurant has a rest room. One minus point is the entrance which is via the car parking space on GF. You have to take the staircase or lift from it to reach the restaurant. Apart from giving a drab appearance, at first look one might miss the restaurant completely mistaking it for the entrance of an office/ private residence!
