Would like to share my experience. I recently visited Chennai and had an opportunity to dine at Yaa Mohaideen, vadapalani. I ordered 1 Mutton biriyani, 1 Prawn thokku and 1 Kushka. Two cups of bread halwa was offered as complementary. I realised it was nothing like what I had believed it to be. Seems to be exaggerated to the highest level on YouTube. There was ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOUR in the biriyani served to me. The Mutton in the biriyani was hard but Okay. The Prawn thokku was just TOMATO THOKKU with very hard prawns. The Kushka, oh god, (clearly stale, cold, tasteless, rice was dry) never expected such food in Chennai. I am from Bangalore, where food in such south Indian cuisines are just stale (old). I have always regarded Chennai high when it comes to food. But, this place was an utter disappointment. Sukhbhai biriyani from Alandur would have been a value for money and greater satisfaction in comparison. I had tasted sukhbhai's biriyani back in 2020. The two stars are for decor, ambience and service. I never will go back to...
Read moreIt's my first experience and this review is the late post of my experience. The place looks good and spacious but that's not enough for the biriyani lovers. Few of my friends suggested this place since they loved the biriyani from the Pallavaram branch. Mutton biriyani is awful, mutton not yet cooked properly. Vanjaram tawa roast is undercooked, too much spicy and it's full of red color, that red colour food dye lasted almost 10 hours in our hands even after washing it 5 to 6 time with handwash over the period. Brownie with ice-cream is a disaster. Spoons given for ice creams are not clean, even after replacing it twice i personally washed it. Only satisfied thing is Falooda, which is good and worthy. Remaining things are not worthy. My friends who suggested this place to me is regretting still now and keeps on asking me to write down the...
Read moreYesterday me and my friends went there for dinner. We ordered mutton pepper soup and when we tasted it we felt like it was chicken and we raised a complaint about that. Soon they are saying like the mutton is boiled thoroughly so it is looking like that. We were damn sure that it was chicken in that soup and he was telling that no it was mutton as if we didn’t had mutton soup anywhere else or we haven’t ate mutton itself in the first place. Secondly we ordered mutton chukka. When we received it we were searching for the mutton pieces. Literally there were some 6-7 pieces of small mutton pieces with full of onions and chukka masala. It was a complete disappointment for us. Please try to satisfy the customer by giving some good food. We customers not only come to your hotel we also eat in other places and we know how the taste and...
