Annsun Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Zone 13 Adyar

My sister and I stayed at the Annsun Boutique Hotel for a total of about 2 weeks. The staff deserves the highest praise. These men were amazing. The manager was always extremely helpful, whether accommodating requests for room changes, or booking autos and taxis for us, or anything else. The three or four other young men on the staff were also extremely helpful. And they are great cooks! The breakfast every day was tasty, wholesome, and plentiful. Typical breakfast items were things like idli/sambar, dosa, pongal, idiappam, etc. Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The rooms were good, although the first room we were in had a mold problem in the bathroom - probably due to poor ventilation. But the manager let us switch rooms, and the new one did not have mold. The rooms also had good sound insulation - we did not really hear the other guests through the walls. The location is also good - it's only about 4 blocks away from Sardar Patel road in Gandhinagar, Adyar (Chennai). So, it is very easy to walk to nearby stores, etc. Despite the proximity to such a busy area, the hotel itself is in a residential area, so it was very quiet. The only time there was street noise was around 7 - 8 am, when there is a massive traffic jam of parents dropping their kids off at school at Bala Vidya Mandir (just across the street). Finally, the price was very reasonable - including breakfast for 2, it was Rs. 3500 per night. Overall, an outstanding hotel. I will definitely want to stay here the next time I...

I had stayed in Annsun hotel during 10th and 12th of June. The place is warm and overbearing in terms of Hospitality giving feeling of Home. The caretaker Team is excellent host and they immediately make you comfortable. Mr. Venkatesh who manages this place was courteous and friendly explaining and guiding the way around. He helped in getting luggage, water bottle etc. and has amicable personality who knows how to make customers easy and comfortable. ||The breakfast was surprisingly having choice of local as well as continiental variety served hot on table. Other staff Mr. Arun and one more youngster were also very friendly. ||Couple of things in the room may need upkeep as over the period there has been wear and tear, however what matters more is the friendliness of people and place. ||The location and area is also one of the best residential area around .Since our work was at IIT Chennai it was easy to reach there. ||The signage of the Hotel however needs more prominance and visibility as it is behind the leaves and hardly visible for first timer. Annsun Boutique hotels, just remember this name for the best boutique hotel in Adyar. I have stay for a few days at this hotel. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful, Small cozy and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staffs starts from Josephine on call, Mukesh, Thulasimani & Sankar are throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with Wifi TV & all essentials and fantastic view from east facing balcony with large neem tree beneath. Water is so good for bathing, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel who want to stay at Adyar. Will be back to this place soon...
