Gone there for the New year's night. Early morning of January 1 2019/31st of December 2018 at 2:00 after watching a movie at INOX city center. The hotel staff said Briyani is readily available, but they served us at 2:40 am, in the meantime we were just waiting. The only reason we didn't leave is because we were really hungry and no other restaurants were open in the surrounding. Secondly, the food was not hot or fresh. We had one chicken and one mutton Briyani, both the Briyani were obviously not heated, and the meat was way too cold and like rubber. And the chicken 65 was like literally very old, it was not hot and not even fresh. Trust me. They didn't have boiled eggs, so they served us omelette on top of the Briyani. We are really irritated and could not even eat it, and we asked for the bill. And no one cared to serve us the bill. When we went to the counter to pay the bill it was 895 INR. The first expense that I am making on the very first day of the year was like utter waste of money.
On top of all this, in their ceiling there was a huge rat running. Most of the customers saw this as well. Please do not go to this Restaurant. There are million other restaurants which are a billion times better than this. Kindly I advise you, not to go to...
Read moreThe food here is not very tasty, especially for the kind of money they charge.
I went with my family of four. We ordered 3 Chicken Fried Rice and 1 Green Peas Masala.
The fried rice, especially the chicken pieces, was bland and more or less tasteless. The quantity was somewhat less, and for the cost of 180rs. per plate, I found it to be a total ripoff. One theory about the bland somewhat tasteless chicken could be that they are boiling the chicken and using the stock for other purposes, which leaves the chicken bereft of its taste. In such a case, I believe fried chicken pieces would be tastier.
The green peas masala was awful. To make matters worse, they use those dried peas which are first soaked in water for a night, and then cooked. The peas were not soaked enough, or boiled enough, and they were quite hard. Not at all like eating fresh green peas. For 160rs. a plate, they could not even bother to use frozen peas, which is available everywhere. Cost cutting. Shameful.
A totally unfulfilling dinner for 740rs.
These restaurants are getting worse and worse by the day. To know what I mean, I have another review of a restaurant in OMR, Navalur, which I will be posting soon after. Check it out,...
Read moreI went for dinner on 27th August 2022. I ordered a naattu kozhi rasam soup. They brought it in a miserable cup that had the smell of the detergent. The soup had the taste of the detergent and so we kept it aside. Then ordered for a boneless chicken 65, mutton chukka, chicken dosa. Every item was a great disaster and especially the mutton chukka was too hard, without any taste and the portion that they gave and the price they had charged was indigestible. As we ate for the sake of ordering the food was extremely spicy that we literally felt like running to grab something sweet. The steward observing me offered me a cup of curd with sugar which I ate. Thanking the kindness of the steward I left the hotel telling to myself never ever step in here again in life. The restaurant instantly gifted me with a severe ulcer pain that hasn’t subsided even till 24 hours. Just imagine the spice level of the food (and I’m someone who can eat spicy food, but this was something inexplicable). I sincerely urge the franchisee/ owner of that outlet to seriously look into how they can give good food to see happy customers. Paid a sum of ₹934/- for the most unkind...
