Azzuri Bay is a nice rooftop restaurant situated in Gandhi Nagar. The speciality of the place has to be its huge menu. Mediterranean, Thai, Italian, oriental - everything is there. It might be a bit intimidating to look at the menu at first but all are in their specific categories Have ate here a couple of times, and among the many dishes I’ve tried, a few have been stand outs The lamb chops - were delicious and tender and smothered in a tasty herby Italian sauce with olives. The mango sauce fish - it was a bit overpowered with the mango sauce but fish was tender and the dish was tasty Chicken momos - they were pretty good. But the mango dip they came along is a real banger Pizza - pizza was the first dish I’ve tried here, back when I came here as a really young kid. The taste is still the same. Their pizza has the unique touch to it. Pumpkin soup - comes with corn and it’s enriched with pepper. Soothes your throat really Let downs? I remember the ravioli I once ordered in tomato sauce came in a thick blanket of Alfredo. And I can’t handle that much dairy. And the Thai starters platter. The name was fascinating. But it was just three of the most basic oriental fried starters And also The bathroom being located on a different floor only accessible by a very trippy staircase, is one big problem. Hope they look into it. But it’s overall a good place. Good food, options and service. Ambience is obviously a plus too

Azzuri bay, a beautiful place to dine in specifically on a wonderful night dinner. They have a beautiful set up with yellow lights a perfect place for dinner dates. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a big space for friendly gatherings as well. They serve pan asian, Mediterranean and Italian cuisines and have a wide variety menu. We had a big day out with 12 friends dining and tried their wide menu. The food was good and compared to other normal restaurants,I couldn't find anything unique for that place to eat rather than complementing their ambience. The price is normal to slightly priced but with some discount offers from swiggy and Zomato we were able to come under budget. The service was quick and the order was delivered fast. Overall we had a good experience and if you are going on dates do check them out.

Visited for dinner with friends as usual. The outdoor ambience was good and the staff were friendly and courteous. Service was very good. Food needs to be improved though. We had Tom yum veg soup, chicken satay, Chong Qing chilli chicken, veg lasagna, Thai curry vegetable, Polla alla cacciatore and honey chilli lotus stem. We didn't like the chicken satay and the peanut sauce given with it and veg lasagna was okayish not that great. Thai curry and the rest of the food was good but all the items were a bit pricey. But the food wasn't that special to make us want to visit again.

Azzuri bay is a serene, beautiful restaurant situated near Adyar. It's a dim lit roof top restaurant which serve Asia pacific, Thai and specially Italian cuisines. Their speciality is Thai and Italian food, they have all kinds of vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu. The menu offers a good platter of non veg items and a nice mixture of italian thin crusted pizzas, pastas and lazanyas. A very cozy place if you want to hang out with your girlfriend or your best half. They have both open type and air-conditioned tables in the roof top. The restaurant itself is located in a quite place in the interior of Adyar. The roof top gives a very beautiful view of the Adyar river and the Adyar bridge. The restaurant food quality is very good. We went as a couple and had soups, starters and shared a main course meal. It was delicious. The price is also not very expensive, it's comes to 1200 to 1500 for a couple. The entrance shares a wonderful Buddha waterfall statue, giving you a typical Thai experience. The restaurant greets you to a beautiful golden Buddha, overviewing the serene Adyar bay, which is a famous spot for taking breathtaking pictures. On the downside the furniture is wooden, so it gets a little uncomfortable if you are sitting for a long time in a wooden chair. The place has also room for party orders and groups get togethers. They do home delivery through swaggy. The restaurant also has an all indoor type air-conditioned restaurant in the second floor, while the roof top is on the third floor. They don't have washrooms on the rooftop restaurants, one has to go all the way down to second floor for taking a leak or to even was ones hands. They do offer finger bowls though. The roof is covered with asbestos and sometimes it gets hot in the summer and one would not enjoy the typical roof top experience. Altogether it's a very delicate, well crafted, beautiful restaurant, definitely a thumbs up from me. Do check...

Azzuri Bay is a nice rooftop restaurant where I’ve been to a couple of times, and this review will be based off all my experiences .

They have a gigantic menu with specialised sections for each cuisine (from Thai to Indian to Italian) which makes it hard to order but also provides a multitude of options: and a lot of dishes worth trying, from so many cuisines

Of the dishes I tried-

  1. Chicken Momos- They were decent but most importantly the mango sauce that came as a dip alongside it was delicious. But momos were regular chicken momos
  2. Corn Cheese Balls- just the usual kind
  3. Ravioli - Despite saying it was tomato sauce, pasta was served in such a thick creamy white sauce that would give my stomach lactose intolerance
  4. Pizza- Could’ve been better as I had remembered their pizza to be delicious when I came here many years back.
  5. lasagna - A decent spinach lasagna
  6. spaghetti and meatballs - a classic dish but I didn’t like the meatballs as it was very spicy and I probably am not a fan of mince myself
  7. Grilled Fish - Fish was cooked well and for my first time trying fish it was a very mild and tasty dish
  8. Thai Starter Platter- it was just like a basic platter of Oriental starters , but the mango sauce again was heavenly
  9. Lamb Chops- best saved for the last- It was delightful and tender, soaked in a delicious Italian sauce with olives served alongside rice and veggies

The desserts including cheesecake and Tres Leches were good too

The servers were totally unresponsive and didn’t attend to any of our calls . So giving service a low rating.

Ambience is great at the rooftop but the location is cramped, with the toilet situated a floor below with a terribly cramped staircase to reach it.

It’s worth coming again due to the vast menu and dishes to try and it caters to...

First the good part -

Food taste and quantity they provide is very good. Generally we don't get this quantity for this price at most of the other places. We could see that most of the customers were seen carrying the leftover food.

Now coming to not so good part -

The place is severely understaffed. There were only 3 boys and one supervisor manning the entire 3rd floor. This was causing delays in getting the bill or even refill for water. I could just feel for the boys.

The water tasted like normal tap water. Didn't seem like RO purified. Not sure if this is a tactic by the restaurant to force customers to buy bottled water.

Billing was done recklessly. Bottled water was added even though we didn't use it. Instead of Chicken Lasagne we were billed for Sea food Lasagne. When these errors were pointed out, they rectified it. One has to check the bill carefully.

We had some leftover food that we asked to pack. It took more than 30 minutes to pack. When we asked the reason for the delay they mentioned that the food fell down by mistake while packing and that they were preparing the food freshly to be packed. When we got the package, the quantity was way less than what was leftover. It was almost half of what we asked to pack. We asked the person who handed over the package about this. He just apologized and cut a sorry figure. Not sure what really happened inside.

We went to the place to celebrate an occasion. Already by the time we reached the place, an unusually heavy traffic for a Sunday evening left us exasperated. Subsequently this kind of experience at the restaurant pushed us to a decision not to visit this place anytime in...
