Ram Palace — Hotel in Zone 8 Anna Nagar

Very dirty place and so much mosquitoes 🦟 were there but because I needed a room urgently I had to stay otherwise I wouldn't have even stayed over here, the rickshaw person charged me 500 just from railway station to this hotel which is just 12km and the hotel person charged 100 rupees extra on the name of GST...I don't know how far was that correct, so please it's a request don't book any hotel without the knowledge of the price of the area... Please check around 2 to 3 hotels and then only book your stay. And there was so much traffic noise, I couldn't even sleep peacefully coz of mosquito and vehicle sounds and the bedsheet were very thin and dirty, could smell it as if it's not...

Worst experience. I booked through OYO, with AC facility, but we were given non-AC room and the hotel guy told that I booked room without AC facility. On talking to OYO customer care they confirmed that I booked with AC facility. Even OYO customer care talked to the hotel owner but they were not ready to give us the room we booked for. Even their tone was turning harsh like filled with anger. They were asking extra ₹400/- to use AC. They have no respect for their customers. Later OYO apologised to us for inconvenience caused and shifted us to another hotel nearby which was much better,...

Rooms are barely okay. The bedding doesn't seem to have been changed for a long time. Despite cleaning by housekeeper, there was quite a lot of sand/dust on the floor. But the bathroom though basic was clean. ACs don't look effective and thankfully I booked the non AC one for stay of couple of hours. Its about ₹900 for single deluxe non AC room. Location is great though. It is just next door to the Metro station which connects you to both Airport and Chennai...
