Villa Gita Segara — Hotel in Bali

I have just returned from yet another delightful stay at Villa Gita. My first four years ago and nothing has changed... This place just keeps getting better. All the staff still remembered us all by name and enquired after other guests who came with us last time. Such good memories. Yasa in the kitchen still remembered our favourite dishes and as for his cooking, top notch. Why go eat anywhere else where he was more than willing to cook something special and far better quality than some of the local restaurants. Triasih, Adi, Sari, Sindu did a marvellous job of keeping the villa clean and well maintained. And villa manager Dian always available when required to help book tours, drivers and offer advice on local attractions. This villa is situated in such a lovely part of the world over looking the ocean, where you can rest, relax and watch the world go by. I think the previous negative review from someone who has only posted one review is totally incorrect and either they have the wrong villa or have something against these good people... That review is not true at all. Anyone staying at Villa Gita will not regret their decision to stay there... I...

This hotel charges about the highest price in Bali.For that you could expect high standard of quality. The rooms are not maintained. Broken cupboard, lights defect, rusty bath drain etcetera. Worse is the towelservice. Yellow stains in towels. Asked to change them, got other towels with stains. Even after speaking with the manager, the towels (third time) had stains in them. That is a disgrace for over 200 euro a night in Bali!||||Staff is friendly, but not authentic. We stayed in another villa this holiday and that was a real difference! Also, they charge for everything. You get a complimentary breakfast, but thats just cereals. If you want something more, they charge you restaurant prices. The food for dinner is als for restaurant prices, but - really - they cook not with fresh ingredients!, A shame in Bali!||||Conclusion: apart from the top location and beautiful view, this place is very overpriced, outdated and not authentic. If you look for nice food,nice accomodation in Bali to get the real welcome feeling, you better look elsewhere.... (had foto from the towels with stains, but couldnt...

|We sadly only had a two night stay at villa Gita but I can assure you is was long enough to know it is the best villa we have ever stayed in!!||The villa location was amazing, close to all the essentials but still very peaceful. The ocean views were absolutely stunning!!||The villa was very well laid out with the 3 bedrooms (each with there own bathrooms) spread around the living area. No stairs to climb!||The staff were absolutely amazing always on standby to do anything you could possibly want. They organised in villa massages, super quick laundry services and lovely food all at reasonable prices.||The staff also arranged a snorkelling outing for us with a local fisherman to the blue lagoon it was well worth the trip. It is a must do if you are in Candidassa.||I highly recommend this villa to everyone!!
