Update review : They responded very well to my previous review. One of the staff called me to ask what they can improve. Well, gotta admit that their service is great. My next visit was much better than the first.
I was going to give it 5 stars, but my experience today was very dissapointing.
The room were comfortable, I spent 5 nights at the Superior room for business trip and it was fine.
Then I extended my stay to relax so I upgraded to Premier Suite (room 901) and I regret it. The room is not as cold (yeah, still here), not enough water pressure from the shower. Took a shower in the bathtub with the curtain closed, when i finished, found the bathroom floor was flooded. The water didn’t go straight to the water hole.
The toilet suddenly couldn’t be flushed.
Breakfast has been good, the food were okay with many varieties.
It has been enjoyable until today. I have a habit to wipe the cutlery with tissue or hand before using it, and the fork was so sticky. They didn’t have wet towel so they brought me hand sanitizer. While waiting for it, that felt like so long, my hand felt warmer, i had no idea what that sticky thing was. Disgusting. I have lost my appetite so I decided to get back to my room to wash my hand just to find my key can be used to go to my floor but not to open my room, making me have to go to the recepsionist first. With warm hand from that sticky fork.

Read moreThis is the first time i give low rating for hotel. But here’s my review. Plus +Nice bedding. Every hotel should +Nice location. You can just walk to the nearest park or malls. +Good view from any rooms. This is actually nice. Minus -Tiles is not good. I think most of hotels now use carpet or nice marble. -Bfast was mess. Taste not good (opor was so salty and sour). Despite many staff, they’re all overwhelmed by the people. Most of the time people blocked the entrance because they’re bringing more people than the coupon. I think people with more family member should be informed at check in to save events like that repeating. -Soap and shampoo. Cmon, is it too hard to give decent soap and shampoo? Or we need to take higher room class to get better soap and shampoo? -Pool is too small. I made bigger pools for 3-4 star hotels and also made proper separator between child and adult pool. I can’t even use the pool, too crowded.
Fix your bfast and soap-shampoo. Or else for you who want to try this hotel I suggest to pick other hotel. Though there’s not so much choice in Medan City.

Read moreThe check-in and the room are great. However, we have an untasteful experience at the spa place in the hotel. We arranged for a 90 minutes massage session at 10pm. When we arrived at 10pm, we were told that they only have the 60 minutes massage. We insisted to have the 90 minutes as agreed. After discussion among the masseuses and the receptionist, they agreed with the 90 minutes session. In the end, we started our session at around 10.18pm. 3 of us each ended at a different time. I was in a couple room with my Friend and hers ended at 11.20pm. Mine ended at 11.26pm. My other friend who was in another room ended at 11.37pm because her masseuse noticed that our sessions had ended. She quickly wrapped up her session according to my friend. At the reception, I questioned why are we paying for 90mins where we are only given 60-70mins of massage. And after some discussion among themselves, the receptionist told me that they usually leave 10mins for their guest to shower.
