When we stopped by, everything was fine. Then the difficulties began. For such a huge amount of money, the service is completely absent. Filtration of water in the pool did not work, the water in the pool was muddy, after which 2 people received skin irritation from this water. When we asked to clean the pool, we were told that it was clean, in the end they agreed with us. On the first day after our request, they just came to look and disappeared, the next day we had to persuade the staff to clean it after all, but they told us that the person who was doing this was missing, on the third day they came and removed the pump and disappeared again, we had to write to them again, as a result, in the evening on the 3rd day they we made a pool, on the 4th day the water in the pool became cleaner. In short, we lived in the villa for 5 days, they repaired the pool for 4 days. This is the end of the story with the pool. The floors in the rooms were dirty, it was impossible to walk without slippers, the feet were dirty. The air conditioning in 3 rooms practically did not work. In the bathroom, instead of soap, soapy water was poured instead. At a cost of $ 2,300 for 5 days, they put only 2 towels in the room. The Internet didn't work at all for 3 days, then they fixed something. As a result, when they left, they cheated us out of money, writing down a minibar for us in such quantity, as if we had lived there for a month. When they asked us to give us a layout for the minibar so that we could check how much we drank from there, they simply stopped responding to messages and disappeared. The minibar for 5 days of stay they updated us 1 time, the maximum amount in the minibar is about 200 thousand rupees. The beds in some rooms are old and creak very much. The villa is quite old and tired. If they were watching her, she wouldn't be in such a state. You can write a lot more, but it turned out to be a great review. I want to mention only a good breakfast and a big TV, but it didn't work for 3 days, because there was no Internet. There is a lot of negativity. The price does not match the quality at all. I wouldn't visit this villa a second time. By the way, there is practically no road...

I must share an appalling incident, highlighting four reasons why you should never book a stay at this hotel. You will regret it, without a shadow of a doubt.
Bed bugs infestation Terrible staff attitude Shoddy furniture Unwashed clothing Unpalatable breakfast
I had booked a total of 11 nights at this hotel. I am accustomed to using new disposable paper mattresses at each hotel for hygiene reasons. As I was spreading out the disposable mattress, I noticed some black soil on the sheets. I didn't know what it was, but I let it slide, relying on my disposable mattress.
I handed my clothes over to the hotel laundry on the first day. By the second and third day, I woke up feeling itchy and had poor sleep. By the fourth day, I was horrified to find more than three bed bugs on the bed. My legs were covered in bumps, looking like an allergic reaction or insect bites. It was terrifying, as I had never experienced this before.
I was at a loss to understand the cause of this, given that my clothes were laundered by the hotel and I was using a disposable paper mattress. Hence, on the fourth day, I reported this to the staff. Their response was atrocious. They merely suggested that I was bitten by jellyfish while snorkeling, offering no practical solutions. They even suggested I check out if I wasn't satisfied. What a terrible attitude!
I left on the fourth day, with no refund or apology from the hotel. After leaving, I was down with a fever for two days and had to receive intravenous treatment to recover.
The staff mentioned they would report the issue to the manager and contact me, but it's been over six days without a word from them.
If you don't want to ruin your trip to Gili T, avoid booking this resort at all costs.

Read moreI’ll preface my review by saying it is clear that along with the rest of the world Gili and it’s hotels have suffered repercussions due to the impact of covid and are just starting to get back on their feet. However, there is no excuse for the disgusting villa we were expected to stay in. It’s fair to say the photos attached will speak for themselves. ||||On arrival we were disappointed, the villa no doubt had once been stunning as per the glossy promotional photos on the booking sites. However, it was incredibly tired with worn fixtures and fittings including cigarette burn holes in the seating. It all looked and felt grubby and unclean. The pool towels were damp despite supposedly being fresh and clean. The bathrooms were in need of refurbishment with the showers being little more of a trickle. Indeed it is fair to say the whole villa desperately required work to be considered ‘luxury’ as billed. ||||We did make the decision to leave after initially discovering blood on one quilt cover. Which then led us to check all the bed sheets. Our discoveries were horrific. I wouldn’t like to speculate on the bodily fluids covering both the mattresses and covers. It is utterly disgusting to think anyone would think it appropriate to simply dress the bed with clean sheets over what undoubtedly was a health hazard!! ||||To be clear all three mattresses/beds in the three bedroom villa were disgusting. Two more badly stained than the third but all unacceptable. ||||Our experiences of Kelapa Villas would lead us to suggest that they are trading on their reputation of old and previous standards. As it stands this can not be described as a luxury accommodation and I would urge anyone considering staying here...
