Villas Edenia Resort & Restaurant — Hotel in Gili Trawangan

We first stayed at Villa Edenia, about 4 years ago.||Wow, it was absolutely amazing and we certainly weren't disappointed.||We returned in October 2022 for a 16 night stay, to visit our daughter who lives on the island. ||Firstly, I want to say, how wonderful, caring and amazing all the staff are there at Villa Edenia. ||They are all an absolute credit to the accommodation.||Nothing was ever to much trouble for them, we can't thank them enough.||We were however quite disappointed with the accommodation 4 years on and we understand that we have all suffered through the covid pandemic.||But the villa, looked very, very tired.||Tiles were missing from inside the pool.||The wooden boarding was lose and some needed replacing. ||The villa, used to have a double bed and a beautiful dressing room.||This has been sacrificed to accommodate a third bed/couch and the once fitted wardrobe sits against another wall, looking completely out of place.||An awful picture now adourns the dressing room wall.||The hairdryer provided was of such a poor quality, that my daughter ordered me a brand new one, which was delivered within 4 days to the island, as I would still have been drying my hair now!||The outdoor shower / bathroom, which was stunning on our first visit, needed the mould removing from the tiles and the sink unit repainting.||The whole Villa needed a good lick of paint and just that alone would have transformed it.||The fridge needed condemning and certainly wasn't fit for purpose. ||You have a wonderful place, please, please take the time to do some much needed work to it.||The breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious.||Thank you again to your...

Perfect little spot. My fiancé and I absolutely loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff made it a wonderful experience. Zidane (apologies if spelt wrong) at reception was just so happy, great English, helpful and made it memorable. All staff here are wonderful, happy, helpful and good English. The spa staff were also very professional and provided an amazing service.

The villa as a whole was just incredible. It is very clean, comfortable, great size for a couple, pool was always a lovely temperature, shower pressure is great and just overall the villa is aesthetically pleasing. I dont have anything bad to say nor anything they can improve on. Food was always great and fresh. Handy way of communicating via whatsapp to order food and drink and anything else you may need. Very attentive. A solid 10/10!

The villa is in an ideal spot, out the way and on the quiet side of the island. It's only a short walk 6 mins to the supermarket, window bar and Hula. Two amazing spots to watch the beautiful sunset on a beanbag. Hiring the bike was just $5aud per day which is really handy if you want to travel to the other side of the island. If you get lost the locals are so friendly and helpful and don't want anything from you unlike mainland Bali. Lombok and those on the island seem much more happier and approachable.

I had a good experience with this hotel. I stayed in 2 beds room poolvilla. I moved in here with my family suddenly. Because the previous villa was so bad, I had to book this villa just before check in. I was really worried about the conditions of the rooms. But it doesn’t need to be worried. All of the staff are very kind. And the breakfast in villa service was very comfortable. The pool is good size to play with kids and the temperature of this is not too cold. And the overall exterior is beautiful with trees and flowers. And can see the stars and the moon well in night. It’s very fantastic. The only communication channel with the staff is WhatsApp but they reply quickly.

There are many outdoor spaces and villas are made of wood, so there are many big bugs. It's not soundproof, so I can hear everything. And hot water doesn't come out continuously, so after the person in front takes a shower, you have to take a shower with somewhat cold water.
