RedDoorz Plus near Taman Anggrek Mall — Hotel in Jakarta

I booked a room at RedDoorz near Taman Anggrek for a night due to a late flight and managed a 2 AM check-in, thanks to their 24-hour front desk—super convenient. The area around the motel is bustling with street food hawkers, so grabbing a bite was easy, plus there’s a laundry service right across the street.

The room was quite clean and incredibly affordable at IDR 210,000. The basics like AC and TV were in good working order, though the hot water pressure was a bit low. However, there were a few downsides: the room had a transparent door barrier at the top that let the hallway light stream straight onto my bed, which made it hard to sleep. Also, my room seemed outdated compared to the cleaner, more modern ones like next door or shown on the website. It felt like it hadn’t been renovated yet and lacked amenities like a clothes hanger.

Despite these issues, for the price and location, it’s a practical choice for a short stay, especially if you’re not too picky about...

Great budget hotel! Even name is near Taman Anggrek, need to take note that it is not on a walking distance… you still need to have a ride to go there. Has a basement parking for non sedan car and located in a strategic food place! Just go outside and can find numerous of food along the way! Also grocery store is just next door. Hotel room is clean and neat… most important thing is they use a very soft bed sheet ! So comfortable to sleep 😁 Staff is friendly...

(+) ac nya dingin ada 2 botol minum water heater nya ternyata mau jam berapapun dipake nya gak habis2 (biasanya hotel budget kendala di water heater yg cepet habis) deket sama yg jual mknan, bahkan di sampingnya persis ada minimarket ada wifi ada sabun& shampoo 2 handuk 1 sikat gigi (karena saya nginep sendiri mungkin)

(-) kamarnya ada nyamuk, entah dtg nya dari mana tpi tiap sore menjelang mlm slalu muncul 1-2 nyamuk ada 1 org entah dia receptionist atau house keeping, tapi jutek bgt gak ramah, saya cowo dan saya kerja di hotel juga, org kaya gini biasanya bikin tamu males dtg lagi, ya wajar sih sekelas reddoorz mungkin gk ada training hospitality(?) saya kasih bintang 2 buat pelayanannya sprei agak kotor banyak bercak noda tidak ada sendal ada wifi tpi di device tertentu gak bisa konek, kadang bisa konek nanti ilang lagi

overall buat hotel nya lumayan sih saya gak expected cukup bagus fasilitas yg di kasih dengan harga segitu, cuma mungkin pelayanan nya bisa lebih...
