Tulamben Dive Resort — Hotel in Kecamatan Kubu

I spent a few days in tulamben aero dive center, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel so much that I extended my stay for more days. Honestly for this price I was presently surprised, the room was clean, the bed sheets were clean too, bathrooms are ok, there’s a swimming pool with a restaurant on top. The restaurant has an amazing view from the mount Agung, I was mesmerized. The place is tranquille so you will not be bothered, there are many other restaurants near from the hotel if you want to try something different. The staff is really friendly if you need anything you could just ask them they were so helpful. The hotel is well located and is just in front of the diving place, you can do scuba diving with them or snorkeling, it’s the same price in all the hotels and centers in the area. If you want to do other activities or need a driver just ask the manager Anie she will help you with anything, it was so nice to meet her !I was even upgraded to a bigger room after a few days. I would recommend not taking the room by the pool though as the bathroom will smell like humidity.Honestly I have been to more expensive hotels in Bali and it’s the best experience I have had so far. Had an awesome 6 days stay here all thanks to the very friendly staff, especially the crew who took really good care of us for every single dive. They are quick, efficient and are constantly looking out for you. Really hard working folks. Drinks and fruits await you when you return from every dive. Special shoutout to Komang who was our dive guide. He’s funny, honest and was always planning so we can have a good dive. The rooms here are huge and so is the bathroom. Everything is clean and the Housekeeping team comes by everyday and once they have figured out your daily routine, you always come back to a clean and neat room. Food here is always good although it can use more variety. Do remember to bring your own entertainment as there are no TVs in the room or the dining area. Wifi is also slow and sometimes none at all. Hotel strongly not recommended, except perhaps for an emergency one-night stay. • Very dirty bathroom. • Towels had an unpleasant smell. • Uncomfortable mattress: you can feel all the springs. • Breakfast room located right next to the road. • No reception service: never anyone at the front desk. • Breakfast staff borderline rude, completely lacking friendliness. To top it off, they served us an undercooked “banana pancake.” • Pillows had a strong nauseating odor and yellowish stains (we had to ask for them to be changed). • Insect resembling a cockroach found in the pool, near the steps, and it stings.

In short, a bad experience....
