Black Sand Eatery黑沙食堂 — Restaurant in Kecamatan Kubu

Such a hidden-gem on the main street of Tulamben! Stumbled upon it first because of the pretty paper flower at the entrance, I have since been eating lunch and dinner here everyday.

Spacious dining area. Love the interior design. There are wet area too so I could come straight for lunch after diving. They even have a little corner planted with mint, rosemary, basil and chili. How cute!

my favorite: opor ayam, pesto&chicken grilled cheese sandwich, hongshao eggplant. Definitely add braised chicken thigh if you feel extra hungry after diving!

The restaurant is part of the Melibe Dive Resort. The dive shop and rooms look pretty great as well, will definitely wanna stay here next time when I’m back...

Tried to steal money with a ridiculous calculation of service charge. I tried to explain them their mistake. Answer: this is how I always do it. 85.000 + 16% tax = 85.000*1.16, the only way! Simple right? Somehow their amount was closer to 20%. Even google showing the same calculation did not help this intellectual. If someone tries to explain you something try to learn from it.
