Melrose x The Young Villas — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

Firstly I've chosen a 4 star rating but the service deserves 5 stars based on the amazing service and assistance provided by our host Mita.

The property itself is clean and aestheticly pleasing and matches the photos. However it was not without issue. We had multiple problems during our stay including water and power issues. But Mita helped resolve these issues quickly.

The location is close to many cafes and restaurants but be aware if you plan to walk a lot as you will be walking on narrow, busy roads without a sidewalks that are not lit during the night. Probably best suited for bikes as they frequently use these roads and paths.

Construction is also everywhere in Uluwatu and there will be construction noise at these villas. A significant construction project was just kicking off on the land neighbouring the villas during our stay.

Lastly the standout was absolutely the service provided by Mita. She really is the star of the show here, always contactable and striving to make the experience positive even when many things were out of...

Our family had an incredible stay at this villa! It's every bit as stunning as it looks in the photos, and the location couldn't have been more perfect for us. We loved being able to walk to Alchemy and Arabica in the mornings, and the proximity to fantastic spots like Cashew Tree, Reform Pilates, and Bambu Fitness was a huge plus.

One of the highlights for us was how kid-friendly the villa was. Our toddler had an absolute blast here, and we felt completely safe. The villa itself is well-equipped with amenities like a washing machine, which made our stay even more convenient.

The host and villa manager were exceptional. They were incredibly responsive to our needs throughout our stay and truly made us feel at home. The villa manager even went above and beyond to assist us with things beyond her usual responsibilities, and everything was executed flawlessly.

Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this villa for families looking to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay...

The house and complex is beautiful and the building staff are attentive and helpful. The location is off the main road and quiet, while still being close to the restaurant and beach scene. We had an unfortunate incident on the last day when the regulator of the natural gas bottle that is used for the kitchen stove malfunctioned and emptied the gas into the house while we were out. The house was filled with gas - an obviously dangerous and potentially disastrous situation if unnoticed when we got back to the house. The building staff was quick to send a technician who diagnosed the faulty regulator, but the host was very unconcerned and unapologetic. That was disappointing and concerning.
