Kalia Bingin — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

I stayed in the deluxe room and the moment I arrived it immediately looked exactly like the pictures. The overall atmosphere was amazing, also at the restaurant, I liked the lounge music. ||I could notice it was still a bit new. Apart from the construction noises in the area (they just are there), the customer service sometimes felt a bit forced. On the one hand they want to treat you like a king (or queen in my case), but on the other hand they dont immediately take your luggage when you arrive, and if you have specific request they sometimes panic a bit at first instead of just talk with you about it. For instanfce, when I returned from a day trip, I wanted to enjoy a cold beer and a snack at the pool. It was about 4pm and didnt even think twice to order something. But the first response I got was that the restaurant was about to close. Really weird timing and immedately got me out of the vibe! In the end, it was closing half an hour later, and even though no one was there, their first response was to almost not take my order. I find that a bit strange, especially for the money I paid. In the end, they did take my order, but these are things i simply dont expect with a hotel of this stature. So there is room for improvement there, to serve the guests even better.||What I found a pity, was that the restaurant wasn’t fully open. I specifically chose this place because I could also eat on site, but apparantly the chef quit and at night the restaurant was closed. In Uluwatu this means you need to get a scooter and drive somewhere, because everything is a bit apart. That wasn’t what I was looking for. ||Apart from that, the room was great and clean, the bath was amazing, and the private bed was also a nice extra. I could also easily order food in at the restaurant and spend a few nice evenings eating my take out while chatting with the receptionist.||Overall, it was nice, but I wouldnt spend extra money anymore on the deluxe room. That just made it too pricey with this novel customer service. I think for the price range you are in with the standard rooms, its okay.||Did enjoy my time here...

Spent 8 nights and 9 days here.

Service from staff 10/10. Staff were kind, approachable, clean and very good English. Staffed till 10pm. They arrange scooter hire for us. They arranged our washing too. They where flexible to clean the room based on our preference.

Breakfast: 7/10 Due to being so new within 6 months of opening breakfast menu was good. Not huge meals and not many options but yummy and fresh serving from 6.30am till 10.30am.

Location 6/10. Although it's located only 300 meters from amazing shops and restaurants that 300 meters is very tight and windy and dangerous rds with 0 streets lights and 0 foot paths, on tight bends. We were forced to make sure we finished dinner before night fall OR risk getting run over OR scooter hire. If there where foot paths between the two, I'd give location a 9/10

Rooms: 9/10 Very modern, very clean, very spacious, very elegant. Shower easily cloggs up. Shower has no screens so water goes everywhere. No bin bags in rubbish bins (My pet hate) Bed and bedding perfect. Fridge is ultra small...doesnt close properly Aircon is great.

Hotel layout: 6/10 Very small, feels like each room is on top of each other. Not very private. Can't talk to each other in private. Walls are thin... can hear the neighbours. Beautiful layout on the eye..just not for intimacy.

Overall great for a quick long weekend peaceful getaway to take...

Absolutely perfect! Our stay exceeded all expectations. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was almost the size of the room itself! The indoor massage option was a great touch, and the breakfast, which was included in the price, was simply amazing.

Speaking of price, it was unbelievably affordable, especially for those coming from more expensive countries. There wasn’t a single flaw—we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more.

This place is ideal for both types of travelers: those who want to relax by the pool without leaving, and those like us, who prefer to explore as much as possible. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everywhere you’d want to go.

One thing to note—the booking process was a bit unusual. After booking, we were asked to make a prepayment through an external website, which felt a little weird. We checked with Booking.com, and they confirmed it was fine, but we still think the hotel should update this system and charge directly through the credit card provided on Booking. Other than that, everything was flawless....
