Rantun's Place — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

Our history started from ordering airport transfer to Rantun's Place.|They forgot to meet us and we were waiting and calling to them around 2 hours in the airoport unsuccessfully.||Then we found a taxi and came to the hotel. We paid 150 000 IDR. Owner of the hotel apologized for this situation and promised to compensate back trip to the airoport.||Everything will be ok, but on the back trip the driver from this hotel insisted that we had to pay him 120 000 IDR for transferring + 50 000 IDR for airoport entering commission. When we tried to explain him that we didn't need to pay, he closed us in the car and started to blackmailing.||We called to the Rantun hotel, but they said we had to pay in any case. We stayed here as we had some family staying across the road in the more luxurious Hilton, however we didn't want to pay Hilton prices, ha! So location for us was convenient. I'd never choose Nusa Dua as a destination myself though, as it seems pretty bland and full of impersonal massive chain hotels and gated complexes. Room was small but clean, shower pressure and temperature good but no bath mat so the bathroom would get soaking wet all the time (no separate shower, totally open). If you like quiet area Nusa dua beach and this hotel is maybe your choice. The price is not expensive and staffs were helpful. The room was a bit disappointed on the first night we arrived. No warm water at shower, light in the bathroom was not working. The next day, I reported problems to receptionist and she’s enthusiasm to changed a room for me. The new room is big enough with comfort bed, bathroom was cleaned and functional. No refrigerator which I need it more than TV. Here, staffs can help you to arrange a motorbike for rent or call a taxi. Another good thing here was even it’s a small hotel but you can order room service or come down to eat until late...
