Amazing service, decor and food - this is a must visit at the Hilton. You’ll find this spot overlooking the ocean and pool area, best access is hopping off the Lift/elevator on Level2 and following signs. We were almost going to give this a miss as we (introverts) imagined a busy, loud and very cool poolside venue. What we found was a venue that manages to cater equally for vibrant and intimate experiences. There is an exclusive pool with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and airy cabanas, perfect for drinks in the sun (or night time shenanigans), snacks and vibes. Indoors, we were warmly welcomed into a gorgeous dining area that accommodates romantic meals and large group dining really well. The menu is available on the website and being updated on 20 September to include steak, pasta and some pizza. We ordered a selection of Tapas; Eggplant, Housemade Butter, Fennel, Cauliflower, Fig, Potato and the Lamb Rack. We finished with the Passionfruit panacotta and Basque Cheesecake. With 5 drinks this cost $178AUD and was enough food for 3 people or 2 very hungry folks. Every dish was delicious and we couldn’t choose a favourite. Things that i highly recommend was the nduja and pork steak, but the pork steak is kinda dry on the end part (you can see on the picture) but from mid section of the steak is nice juicy and tender the sauce is a classic goodnes, really nice potato pave with rosemary aroma. The octopus, taste between ingredients and sauces co-related together, but the octopus is kinda chewy, probably need more time on the cooking process. Oyster is oyster. Pastrami portion is just right, and taste wise is good, its a balance between the saltiness of tomatoes, ham, and nduja. All the bread that is toasted smells and taste really great. Nothing much to say about the basque cheesecake. Next comes the cocktail, i think you need to put the east side negroni in your regular menu as one of elara signature cocktail. Simply amazing. Every dish that came out looked so appetizing and tasted amazing. The ingredients were so fresh, and each plate really captured its own perfect flavor. The surroundings were spotless and hygienic, which made the experience even better.
All the staff were kind and attentive, and the live singer and dancer made the resort atmosphere feel truly magical. It was definitely the most enjoyable dinner of my vacation.
