We stayed for 4 nights, and it was the perfect little get away from the road noise, and hustle and bustle of the cities. And best of all, we found the location to be far less humid than other areas of Bali (hallelujah!!!) The pool and views of the huge new Vishnu/Garuda statue at the culture park were amazing.||||We staying the one of the smaller huts and not one of the rooms on stilts. We found these rooms ok, although noise levels were a little bit of a problem. The walls are very thin, so we heard everything from thee farm behind us, along with their many animals, the hotel's roof top bar playing music, as well as a couple of critters trying to scratch their way in from the roof. The aircon was also quite loud||||We struggled a little with the lighting in the room too, as the 1 bulb was pretty weak, and a small fogged out window didn't have a curtain, so as soon as the sun was up, so were we. There was also no safe or lock box in the room, which was advertised when booking.||||The bathroom was also really basic, again with poor lighting, a leaking ceiling (we assumed and hoped this was just the aircon unit), and a fairly weak shower that blocked very quickly.||||We also struggled to get anywhere without a car (we were too nervous to hire mopeds). Taxis couldn't find the hotel on a number of occassions, so we ended up getting taxis to a nearby hotel and then walked as the signs are a little difficult to see when driving up the big main hill/road.||||Food was ok, but trying to get hold of staff some nights was a little tricky, and as food was made to order, we found the wait for food was a little longer than ideal, especially if there were a few people ordering at once. Menu is also quite limited, so if you're there a while, you might find it a little repetitive.||||Staff were tricky to find at times, and language was a bit of an issue (but saying that, their English was far better then my Indonesian, so who am I to complain!). If you wanted food and noone is to be seen, then the little cafe down the hill by the supermarket was amazing!||||The Kirana is perfect if you're looking for a quiet, poolside getaway, within a short drive of the beach (both Nusa Dua and Jimbaran). The rooms are ideal for...
Read moreOur bungalo was very lovely. We had the amazing sea view which had the view of the outdoor pool and the airport. To our left was the view of the giant Garuda Wisnu statue which we could see from afar. The location of our stay was far from most shops and was about 15 minutes drive from Sundays Beach Club and Karma Beach. We really enjoyed our stay as it was quiet and not many people there. You will need a car or scooter to get out and about though. Main things I'd like to note was that we stayed in Bungalow no. 3 and the stair case going up was broken, so that should get fixed. The bungalow also shakes a bit when you walk around, we didn't have a problem with this, it felt like we were in a tree house. Breakfast provided is basic and staff don't speak English well, although very polite. The pool was immaculate and free towels are provided. All in all, a...
Read moreThe place consists of rustic bungalows facing the GWK, you can actually see the statue from the pool. Needed to go through a small street (just enough for 1 car) to reach the place. But it was quiet safe even at night since it was surrounded be locals' houses.
3 stars because the hotel felt kinda creepy at night and not being sparkling clean which was a huge turnoff for me. Also did not fancy the shower since it didn't feature a curtain, so the half of the floor would get wet everytime someone take a bath.
Best part of the stay were the staffs who were really helpful, motorcycle rent available at the hotel for Rp 75,000. Cannot say anything about the food as we booked without breakfast.
P.s.: highly recommend a nearby cheap local food called...
