The Dream Aventus Hotel is a fairly new hotel located in the back parts of Kuta. The hotel is modern clean and pleasantly designed, however it's located away from the Main area and attractions and there's a couple of convenience stores nearby but nothing else close by. The check-in process is slow and there's a language barrier with staff and check in staff that struggle to understand basic English  and they should have a much better grasp of the English language. The rooms are modern well lit and pleasantly designed with a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a space for luggage, a safe, a desk and chair, blackout curtains, and a small LCD TV which appears out of date and doesn't have access to things like YouTube Netflix etc. The bathrooms are small and they supply dental kits, cotton buds and shower caps, and bathrobes. The shower has a handheld rose and the water pressure is average at best. The beds are ok but the pillows are horrible, firm and uncomfortable. Surprisingly for a new hotel there's a lack of international power sockets. The swimming pool is a rather odd design in the Center of the building with the roof covered in, so from the walkways to your room you can see the pool but not from.any of the rooms. The pool doesn't get any sunlight and no one seems to use it. It's very odd designing a nee hotel with a pool in a tropical place with no sunlight so you cannot sit by the pool and get a tan. I didn't try the in room dining or the restaurant because the food here was quite expensive. You can do far better out and about in town with food for better value for money. At the far end of the building on the second level they have what they oddly call a 'Sky Bar.' It's a strange name to call a bar when you can't see the sky, it's not on the rooftop and has no view, and it's hot and stuffy with no air conditioning or fans, so there's no air circulation and again due to the poor design no one seems to use it. The Wi-Fi is very poor and drops out regularly and soundproofing is an issue because there is none. You can hear every little noise from footsteps even slippers on the walkway outside your room. Why someone would build a modern Hotel without any sound proofing as beyond my wildest imagination. There's a small gym which is modern and air conditioned. They have a very strange policy saying you're not allowed to bring any of your own food or drinks into the hotel or they'll charge you corkage. This is a very poor customer unfriendly policy and I'm sure this would detract from people wanting to stay here. If you want to get into the main part of Kuta you can walk it's about 2 or 3 kilometers or you can get a taxi. Price wise if you can get it at one of the more discounted rates at around 65 to 75 AUD it's reasonable value for money, at the higher end of what they're charging over 100 AUD per night it's simply not worth it. The location could be better but it's okay for two or three nights stay and I would have no problem recommending it for a short stay but there are a number of improvements that could be made and there's definitely better hotels around in Bali

Disappointing Stay – Not a Real 5-Star Hotel We booked this hotel expecting a true 5-star experience, but were very disappointed. Although the check-in was smooth and staff were polite at first, the room was far below expectations. It had a strong damp smell, no natural ventilation, and visible mold in the bathroom. The finishes were worn and overall maintenance was poor. We ended up booking another hotel for a couple of nights because we felt uncomfortable staying there. Even though breakfast was included, we only used it once due to the lack of quality. The worst part happened after checkout. I realized I had left my expensive watch and our passports in the room safe. Staff claimed nothing had been found and instead accused me of breaking a kettle I never used. I had to pay for it even after explaining it was already in poor condition. Only after I insisted multiple times and stressed the value of my watch and the importance of the passports did they finally agree to check the room. I wasn’t allowed to be present during the search, but they eventually returned the items with a brief apology. Pros: • Friendly check-in staff. • Valuables eventually returned. Cons: • Smelly, poorly maintained room with no natural ventilation. • Mold in the bathroom. • Unhelpful and dismissive staff when reporting lost items. • Wrongfully charged for a damaged item. • Very poor overall experience for a 5-star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel and definitely wouldn’t return.

I have stayed in this hotel for 5 nights so far and I can safely say it's perfect for all my needs. It's not in middle of mayem in the city to avoid the hustle and bustle but located just outside which is perfect for peaceful and private. Taxi going into the city only costs 20k-30k which is cheap and ideal also if you get a motor bike taxi it's even more cheap if your a solo adventurer. The rooms are super clean and so is the rest of the hotel. The food is great and is all halal. If you have to wait for some food that takes a while to cook they give you an appetizer to keep you occupied. The only downside I would say for this hotel is that they need more staff that can understand English as it is an international hotel. I had a few issues ordering and talking to staff and even though I thought they understood they didn't. So on occasion I have been waiting for a drink or something and realised I need to re-order. In general the staff are very attentive and helpful. Always service with a smile. Also guest friendly hotel as I thought that they may have an issue but no issues.... All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and would book again if I was to return. On pricing with this hotel everything has to have tax and surcharge put on so don't get confused with the prices for meals or anything you buy in the hotel.

Taking the time to write a review as they deserve it for their outstanding 10/10 service!

A comfortable great 7 days stay with Dream of Aventus Hotel Kuta! Thank you for the exceptional experience on our first trip to Bali! Hotel lobby is definitely stunning with classy marble ornaments making it look luxury!

A noteworthy detail:

(Room Cleanliness) • Room was comfortable, well-maintained, service & cleanliness was immaculate! Furniture and design is modern & exquisite overseeing the busy road of Kuta. Swimming pool was spacious and clean. We had it all to ourselves, so fun! It was a perfect stay for us, our little one enjoyed herself here, as much as we do!

(Strategic location) • Location was convenient and strategic considering its about 10mins from the international Airport. Ideal to catch your morning flight! Relatively good, its walking distance to Alphamart & easy to find Halal foods nearby, as well. It was a bliss to book Grabcar around there too.

(Restaurant Staff & Breakfast) • Hotel breakfast was delicious! Restaurant staffs too were friendly always welcome us with a smile and greeting. Thank you!

• Dian from the restaurant team, deserves a compliment for her beautiful & friendly personality. Her excellent customer service communication & instant genuine connection & conversations she created with the guests, it was amazing just like having a convo with a friend! She's a gem to the hotel. Thank you Dian!

(Front Office Team) •The frontoffice attended to us during our night check in, she was fast and efficient. Didnt get her name but she was polite and friendly too! An excellent first impression as we stepped into the breathtaking hotel lobby! On our last day, we requested for a late check out @ 1pm. Naomi was nice, she assisted us on this. Im overall impressed with the staffs here, such a great team!

(Bell Boy Team) • Yusuf were friendly and polite. He welcome us with a smile and he assisted us with our luggage during arrival. Thank you!

• Bell boy Joni too helped us with our luggage into the vehicle on our check out day, upon leaving to catch a flight. So kind & thoughtful of him to even offered us 2 mineral drinks before we leave. Thank you very much! It was a remarkable stay indeed from day 1 of our stay.

(Hotel Spa) •Minerva Spa Frontdesk was friendly and polite. They served us welcome drinks! Spa was a comfy! It was cozy and modernly designed with wooden elements & its top-notch clean! So reasonably priced & convenient to have the In-House Spa located at the 2nd floor.

• Enjoyed my 2 days spa and rejuvenating sessions with Therapist name - Suandewi. She was gentle throughout the session & soft spoken. She's an experienced masseuse & passionate in what she do. She have magic hands & felt so recharged after! She will ask if the massage strength is good enough.

(Kids Club) • This is a bonus for us considering we travel with a kid! Harry is amazing she take great care of our little one whenever we send her down to the Dreamy Kids Club. It's located near Marble Restaurant where you had your breakfast, just head down the stairs. My girl had so much fun there & she daily requested to go over to play with Harry! She was nice & gentle in taking care of kids, very trustworthy!

Our stay here encapsulates the best moments & experience we had in Bali! Thank you Dream of Aventus & Team for the memorable stay!
