The Deluxe Pool View room is spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool area, I stayed here for a week in September 2025. ||There are two large single beds joined together although they are individually made up, this is not the double bed I had expected or booked (see photo). There are no power points near the bed but there are four on the wall behind a really long desk with a stool and a large mirror behind it.||The room overall is clean and tidy. The sheets on the bed are white and crisp, the bathroom is good with decent shower pressure but lacking truly hot water, you have to let it run for a good five minutes to get anything remotely resembling hot. The shower head is mounted on the wall but cannot be moved up or down so at full strength you have to stand at the other end of the shower cubicle to get wet or reduce the pressure to a trickle. Soap is provided at the sink. Shampoo and shower soap are in wall mounted dispensers within the shower area. Towels are clean and replaced with housekeeping, some can be a bit scratchy but most are soft. Housekeeping is daily when they will make your bed (not change sheets) clean up, dust, change towels and mop the floor.||There is a TV in the room with nothing but local Indonesian channels. WiFi borders glacial to totally unusable in the room and borderline usable in the lobby and restaurant area so no streaming for me.||Location is good and is close to most of the Kuta shops, restaurants and bars. Some great warungs in the area offering really cheap and tasty food. Good laundry nearby.||Pool is nice although there are only three sun beds and little room for more due to the rooms surrounding the pool being quite close. Sun hits the pool until mid afternoon and then the pool is in shade.||You can buy a breakfast at the hotel restaurant for 50,000IDR ($5AUD). Choices are Western - eggs, toast, jam, juice, coffee or tea - there is also continental or Indonesian choices available. There are salt and pepper sachets on the table, sealed but with nothing in them - weirdest thing ever. The baked beans with the western breakfast are served cold out of the can as are the chicken sausages - weird again. Could do with an extra slice of toast for the butter and jam, you get two pieces of toast with an egg for each slice but if you have both slices with your eggs there's nothing left for the jam. Coffee is from a coffee pot and there is hot (not boiling) water for tea too.||The door to the balcony in my room needed to either be rehung or some of the wood shaved off as it does not fit and close properly, you have to shove it and in doing so it makes a really horrible grinding screeching noise as it closes, there is no delicate way of avoiding the noise. Itās no problem during the day but late at night or early mornings it would clearly be heard by other guests.||The issues Iāve highlighted could be fixed fairly easily. If they could sort the wifi out this would be a great place to base yourself if you work online, otherwise youād need to either have an e-sim from Airalo or a local sim card to get things done - or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust returned from a 4 night stay at the Flora Hotel in Kuta and my family and I are traumatised.||Although the price wasn't the most expensive we really didn't expect what we had to endure!||It is nothing more than a run down shack.||It is in such a great need of repair and should not be advertised as a family hotel. ||The tiles in and around the pool are a death trap, broken, cracked and dangerously slippy.||Huge grids with exposed wires next to the only 3 sunbeds in the place.||It was over run with cockroaches and very unhygienic. ||There were prostitutes frequenting rooms and being paraded past us at night time.||There were no English speaking staff so we found it difficult to complain. ||The shower cubicles were disgusting and filthy, the mirrors were cracked and the towels were threadbare.||There was a long serving guest here who was allowed to play loud music, smoke and drink in the pool long after 10pm, with no consideration for the other guests, threats of violence were made from her to the other guests and the police had to be called, there was no authorisation from the Manager it appeared like she was also frightened from this crazy "guest".||Please DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE!||I have never visited such a dirty unhygienic "hotel" before like this and I certainly will not be returning to put myself and my family in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were a group of 10 people who had booked 4 rooms between 28th December to 31st December 202. The receptionist was very rude, unfriendly and showed us attitude. When asked about breakfast, she mentioned a hotel name and said all indians eat there and simply asked us to go there. The rooms were very very basic, bathroom had no tap, broken and had only a hand shower, the plug points were broken, they did not even have a kettle. In one room, the bathroom door was jammed, after complaining they rectified it, in another room the aircon was not working, when asked for an alternative room, they said they did not have one. If you are looking for little privacy, do not pick this hotel since the bathroom doesn't have a lock and some of the rooms have shared balcony. Be prepared for a stranger peeping through the balcony door when you are inside your room anytime. The reviews might be paid, because I felt the opposite after going there directly. Location is the only advantage since it is closer to the beach and city area, but they don't respect customers. Pls don't book this hotel. There are lots of hotels near by in the same area with better cost and better service.. I was not able to give zero rating, so gave 1... Pathetic hotel and pathetic...
