Heaven, right by the airport. Gorgeous little pool; minimal mosquitos; quiet, family-friendly atmosphere; kind staff; and really well-priced, reliable, super-friendly, in-house transportation to as far as Ubud, or as close as Jimburan Beach. Beds are neither the best nor the worst I've slept on, and so far I haven't figured out if there's no hot water, or if I'm just adjusting the shower wrong. But honestly, the place is so great I kinda don't care. There are currently a lot of duplicates/spelling variants in Google Maps (I've found 4 so far), but I'm staying here now, and my GPS dot puts me squarely in the middle of this one, so I'm going to leave my review here in the hopes that others won't, like me, try to get google walking directions to one of the other listings and end up slightly lost because of it. The little roads around here are very maze-like, and don't always correspond precisely to what google thinks is there.
Oh! And they have a free airport shuttle. You can try walking here from the airport, like we did, but if you have a rolling suitcase (or, for that matter, a wheelchair), be advised that the sidewalks are either terrible or nonexistent on the way. Having survived the walk once, I'm super excited to use the free shuttle on the way back to...
Read moreThe Cockroach-Infested NightmareUpon entering my room, I was immediately greeted by a swarm of cockroaches scurrying across the floor, seemingly making themselves at home. To make matters worse, they were even crawling out from under the bed, as if they owned the place.Naturally, I rushed to inform the owner of the guesthouse about this.Instead of offering any sort of apology or taking responsibility for the issue, she callously dismissed the problem as if it were inconsequential. In a feeble attempt to address the issue, a maintenance worker was sent to my room armed with pesticide.Despite the spraying, the number of cockroaches remained unaffected. I found myself trapped in a nightmare, unable to sleep or even relax in my own room, constantly on edge as I witnessed more roaches scuttling across the floor.I implore anyone considering staying at this place to think twice. This establishment should be avoided at all costs. My intention in writing this review is not simply to vent my frustration but to ensure that others are spared the distressing experience I endured. I sincerely hope that the relevant authorities take immediate action to investigate this appalling guesthouse, preventing further harm to...

Cons building upkeep
I would absolutely stay here again. Easy to get to. I arrived at midnight, used Google maps as a GPS. A bit sketch at night if it's you're first time in Denpasar, because it feels like you're walking down an alleyway. However... That is all of Denpasar! Besides the main roads, all of the alleyways are actually streets. But it was safe and easy to get to (I walked across the airport exit street, which at that time of night was not a problem).
I think lack of building upkeep is a major theme in Denpasar, in general. Praba Guest House was no different in the sense that some wallpaper was falling off, which caught me off guard because I wasn't used to it. The next day when I saw Denpasar in the daylight and went into other buildings... EVERY building lacks random maintenance/upkeep issues. I just think the standard is different in Denpasar.
Again, I would 100% recommend!! The pool...
